Chapter: Sixteen

"What are you thinking?" Arnav whispered to Khushi

"Nothing. Just like that. And for god's sake stop scaring me all the time" Khushi complained

Arnav chuckled "Sorry didn't realize my hazel is sensitive like a Touch-Me-Not" Arnav said

"They'd be fine Right? Keerti Bua and Maa-Papa?" Khushi asked

"Yes Hazel. They're having the best reunion ever. All thanks to us." Arnav said

"You know Papa wanted his family around. We haven't done nothing but fulfill one wish that he had. While he has granted so many of ours." Khushi said

Arnav smiled

"Waise Nann-"

"Shut up NK" Arnav cut him off rudely

"At least hear me out!!" Nk whined

"Say it without calling me with that ridiculous nickname or don't say it at all" Arnav said 

"Okay Mr. Bossy Pants. You win!!" Nk exclaimed

"Kya karuin mein tumhaara? (What do I do with you??)" Arnav sighed

"Tum kuch nahi kar sakte. Leave that and tell me what all is happening now?(You can't do anything)"  Nk asked eagerly

"Its the Mehendi and Sangeet functions now. Mehendi is about to start I guess. And tomorrow is the Sangeet. Though there is a veneration of some kind for the Marriage to happen without a hindrance this time. You know last time with Dia leaving. Though for me everything just fell into place" Arnav winked

"You are such a Laad-Governor" Khushi whispered

"You got a problem with that?" Arnav raised an eyebrow at his would-be bride

"How do you do that??" Khushi whined

"What?" 

"The one eyebrow thing? How???" Khushi asked childishly

"You are such a cute lil kid Hazel!!" Arnav kissed her cheek. Khushi blushed deeply

"Aww Khushi. Look at you You're burning scarlet" Lavanya exclaimed teasingly. Khushi tried to run away from the teasings but was stopped by a hand holding hers in a firm yet gentle grip

"Get out you two. Stop teasing my girl and go romance in the guest room" Arnav ordered making the couple to gape at him shocked 

"Did you not hear me??" Arnav asked seeing them not moving an inch from their position

"We are going. Come NK we need to unpack too." Lavanya said whilst almost dragging her husband towards the guest room they were staying in

"So Mrs To be Raizada" Arnav whispered huskily pulling Khushi in his arms

"Ar..nav Mehendi" Khushi stuttered in a daze

"It has not started yet" Arnav said trailing kisses on her face

"What if someone comes?" Khushi asked 

"It's not a crime to love your wife" Arnav said kissing her nose

"I know.."

"Shh.. Let me have my fill. They are not going to let us have time like this again" Arnav whispered before taking her soft lips in a toe-curling kiss

Khushi moaned digging her nails on his back shifting her weight on him. Arnav held her by her waist steadying her 

Breaking the kiss due to lack of air Arnav rested his forehead on hers
