"Morning Hazel" Arnav tapped Khushi's shoulder making her shriek in fear her heart beating wildly in her chest

"What the... Arnav you scared me!!!" Khushi said while trying to bring her heartbeat back to normal

"Ohh.. Sorry love. You okay? I didn't mean to startle you." Arnav asked concerned

Khushi gulped and nodded. "I'm fine.. Now." she breathed

"I thought Garima Ma told you I was going to visit, Vaise what was keeping you so occupied that you didn't notice my presence?" Arnav asked as they both settled on the swing on the terrace

"It was nothing Arnav.. Just my musings" Khushi shrugged

"But Hazel, It's upsetting you isn't it?? What is it?" Arnav asked

"I think that Arvind Papa was upset.. During our engagement. Maybe I'm just imagining this.. But I think there's something bothering him" Khushi confessed

Arnav smiled warmly at his better half.

"You're certainly my soul mate Khushi" Arnav said threading his fingers in hers

"And by that you mean?" She asked curiously

"That you're not imagining. Dad was upset." Arnav confided

Khushi's face fell

"Hey... Never make that face in front of me, I live for your smile." Arnav said

"Arnav... Is he happy with the marriage?" Khushi asked

"Where did that come from Hazel?" Arnav asked

"You know... Whatever happened, Dia's departure all of a sudden, The decision of getting us married. You think he decided that way coz.. Maybe there wasn't another choice?" Khushi asked

"Hey..." Arnav cupped her face gently "Don't think like that Hazel. Don't you know how much Dad loves you? That's not why he's upset love. He can never be upset with you being his DIL. He's very happy love. Okay?" Arnav said softly

Khushi nodded.

"Dia wasn't my choice Khushi.. She was chosen, Simply because she is your elder sister. She is Baba's (Arnav calls Shashi that) elder daughter. Me being older to you and being almost the same age as Dia... There was nothing... I repeat nothing else. He's ecstatic having you as his Daughter." Arnav said softly.

"I was thinking too much" Khushi said

"True that" Arnav teased

"But Then Why is Papa upset?" Khushi asked

"I'll tell you if you agree to accompany me somewhere" Arnav said

Khushi looked at him confused

"Trust me Hazel" Arnav cooed to her

"Raani-Saheba.." Shyam called Anjali from the last step of the staircase.

"Ji... Ayee shyamji! (Yes.. I'm coming Shyamji!)" Anjali shouted back

In another few minutes Anjali was seen hurrying down

"Careful Rani-Saheba" Shyam warned concerned

"I'm fine Shyamji... Tell me what's the matter?" Anjali asked

"Um.. Actually, Some designers are here from the office Rani-Saheba." Shyam informed her

"Oh.. Yeah, I had told chotte to send a team home." Anjali said
