Chapter 1

Anastasia's POV

Abused since two and neglected at five and now in an orphanage at twelve. Scared of everyone and everything. I sit in the darkest corner of the room. The workers usually don't come near me they just open the door and slide in my food on a tray. They think I can't talk but I can I am just to scared to say anything in case I get hurt. I scream at people if they come up to me. People don't know how I survied for seven years by my self and they never will. Its my surivial story not theirs.

***Luke's POV***

"There is another child down there but I don't think she would really be ideal for you guys. She is scared of humans because she was abused at two until she was five when she got neglected. She was alone for about seven years and was nearly dead when we found her but if you want to see her you can she is down there."-Worker

"We will go and see her."-Michael

We walk down the halway and we open the door where she is and she screams.

"Don't come near me! Stay away!"-Anastasia

"It's ok. You can trust us, we won't hurt you."-Ashton

We slowly walk to her and I hold out my hand to her.

"Hi, I am Luke. What is your name?"-Luke

She doesn't reply she just scruches up more in to a ball.

"Well we were going to adopt you, would you like that?"-Michael

"NO!!! I DON'T WANT TO GET HURT AGAIN!! I DON'T TRUST YOU!!"-Anastasia

She burst out crying so I went to sit next to her to comfort her but she whacked me.

"We would never hurt you Anastasia. Don't worry, come with us and you will be safe. I promise you."-Luke

"Luke is rght Anastasia, please trust us."-Michael

"Promise. Promise." I hear Anastasia mumbling it over and over again.

She finally looks up at us and smiles.

I offer my hand to her again and she takes it and I pull her up.

"I still don't trust you Luke but I will come with you."-Anastasia

***Anastasia's POV***

I only am going with them because it is an easy way to be able to escape and to be free. They will never see it coming.
