Come now, darling,

Hush, don't say a word.

Let the wind, sharp and snarling,

Take hold, like the wings of a bird

Flapping out of time

To waiting arms of mine.

Come now, child,

Follow this chiming voice

Lost in the darkness of wild

To worlds of your choice,

Dreams of innocent thoughts

Follow me to this land across.

Come now, baby,

What is the rush?

Sweet blood trickles on the maybe

Down the chin and skin so lush.

Reality fades to thick, chilling fantasy

Floating on lands, little gravity.

Come now, little one,

Do not leave me now.

Run around, pay more attention to fun,

Before the fangs of reality bite down

On pale neck, so fragile,

Lost now in midst of battle.

Little baby, come now,

Escape with me,

From reality, an unforgiving plow,

The killer of dreams that plea

To make way for stressful nightmares

Why not save us from such despairs?
