Chapter Two

At school, Jack was acting more and more different than usual. Jack had avoided Sierra for a while, he had been drawing in class and actually paying attention and he was just quiet.

Of course, Vince wouldn't quit and started to mess with Raf once the bell rang.

Jack walked down to meet the young boy and he froze when he saw Vince holding his backpack in the air while Raf tried to reach for it.

A fire ignited in Jack's stomach and a dark growl rose in his throat. His eyes flashed red and he stormed towards the two.

"Haha! Try and reach for your bag, kid," Vince laughed but he abruptly stopped when he felt someone place their hand on his shoulder and squeezed real tightly.

"Give. Him. The bag, Vince." Jack hissed, his dark blue eyes narrowed coldly.

Vince glared at Jack, "stay out of this, you-"

Jack grabbed Vince's arm, making him drop the backpack and Raf caught it in his hands.

Jack pulled Vince back and slammed him face first into the wall.

Many students gasped in shock at the action and Jack threw Vince to the floor, slamming his foot onto his stomach, making him yelp and cough.

"J-Jack," Raf spoke up, his voice full of fear and shock. Jack looked at him.

The two gazed at each other, their expressions differential.

Jack lifted his foot away from Vince's stomach and the boy heaved a gasp and coughed, bruises beginning to form on the right side of his face.

"Let's go," Miko sighed as Raf walked up to her. The three walked to the school doors as two students ran over and helped Vince to his feet.

The three silently walked out of the school and the bell rang.

"Time to go home, I guess," Miko heavily sighed.

Raf and Jack nodded their heads. Twelve minutes in and it felt like they wouldn't want to sleep or do anything for that matter. In all honesty, to them, school felt short.

"You try falling asleep in class again, Jacky boy?" Miko joked playfully, playfully elbowing the sixteen year old in the side lightly.

Jack chuckled, "I almost fell asleep. It wasn't long before the teacher called me out when she asked me a question."

Miko and Raf laughed a little bit.

"Ratchet said he was making holoforms for the bots. I can't wait to see them," Raf said cheerfully.

Miko grinned, "I wonder what they'll look like."

Jack shrugged his shoulders, "guess we'll just have to wait and see."

Three honks went off and they looked to see Arcee, Wheeljack and Bumblebee drive up to the sidewalk.

"Why is Wheeljack here?" Raf asked Miko curiously.

"He and Bulkhead are taking turns picking me up. So when Bulkhead's on patrol or on a mission, Wheeljack comes to pick me up." Miko explained with a light grin.

Jack chuckled, "imagine if Ultra Magnus came to pick you up."

"Don't!" Miko barked, eyes wide with amusement and Raf laughed as the three walked to the bots.

"Hey, kid. How was school?" Wheeljack asked as Miko hopped into his vehicle form.

"Um... well... Jack sorta attacked Vince and he would've continued if Raf hadn't stopped him," Miko said nervously.
