As she explained to Will and Kate what had been going on for the entire week. The emails, the letters, the phone calls, the personal attack right now. Although she'd left out that she'd banged her head and gotten punched in the stomach. She didn't feel like they needed to know that, they'd worry even more. Though she was sure both of them were bruising at the moment. The decision was made that George's PO would be on the lookout for anything that might threaten Arthur and that he from tomorrow on would have his own PO to look over him. Harry and Charles had gotten involved as well and none of them wanted anything to happen to Kate or Arthur. Kate had managed to convince them that she didn't need a PO. It was the last thing she needed right now to have a guy trailing her ass, it would only make things worse.
"What the hell happened? Will called me pissed off saying I needed to get control over our fans." Glen asked, two hours later she'd finally made it home, her head was killing her but the only thing that mattered was her son lying on the couch. She didn't dare to lose sight of him, Weston, the new appointed PO was up in one of the spare rooms to make sure nothing happened.
"I told him not to call you," Kate muttered, dropping her head in her hands with a deep sigh. "Who's that guy?" Glen asked when Weston, she knew him, he was the third of three PO's George had and felt more comfortable with someone she knew around. "He's a PO," Kate told him as she nodded her head at Weston.
"Why do you need a PO?" Glen asked her as Kate let out a sigh. "All week I've been getting hate mail, Glen, letters, call emails. today I was at UCL, I was cornered in the parking lot and three girls, they threatened to take Arthur, to make me feel what you felt when I kept your son away from you." Kate explained shaking her head, she'd never wanted him to find out, she figured things might die down once they'd gotten over it and the news was a bit older. But no such thing had happened and now it was an even bigger thing.
"What do you mean?" Glen asked as he sat on the bus on to their next location. Why hadn't she said anything to him if this had been going on for an entire week already? He knew the reactions on Twitter weren't the nicest, but he'd figured to ignore them and that things would die down with time.
Now he found out that his girlfriend had been threatened personally and they were threatening to take his son as well. That wasn't to be ignored anymore. "I'll put out a statement with the real story," Glen told her as she shook her head. "Whatever you think will help, I've had it, Glen, they can't threaten my little one. Arthur has now a PO on his own, he knows something is going on." Kate told him, running her hand through her hair but let out a small wince when she ran her hand over the bump on the back of her head.
"What is it?" Glen asked, having seen and heard her wince. "nothing." she told him with a dismissive wave, she didn't need to have him more worried than he already was. "Tell me?" Glen told her, knowing that she wouldn't tell him if he didn't demand it. Right now he wasn't to be toyed with, he was in Spain, far away from them both, he couldn't protect them. He'd wanted to confirm the rumours, all the questions he'd been getting so far. But he'd never thought it would lead to this either.
"It's nothing Glen, really," she told him, she didn't want to tell him that she might have a pounding headache from her hit with the side of the car. "Kate we're supposed to tell each other things and right now you're keeping something from me," he told her as she let out a groan of annoyance.
"they sort of hit my head against the side of my car. It's fine really, it's just a nasty bump on the back of my head," she told him, not wanting to look at the screen as she heard him let out a string of curses. "Glen don't worry, I'm fine, my biggest worry is Arthur at the moment," she assured him, looking at the stairs where her son slept.
"I'll take care of it, I'll go on Periscope or Instagram and answer some questions, make it clear that none are to come near you or our son," Glen told her and he didn't leave much room for argument in Kate's place, so she simply agreed as long as he didn't admit they were a couple yet. Their lives were private and she wanted to keep it that way.
