Letting out a tired sigh, she was really getting done with this. "What can I help you with?" Kate asked them as she tried to think of a way to run if need be. "You're a bitch you know that?" The bigger woman of the three asked her as she grabbed a hold of Kate's arm and squeezed it to the point that Kate wanted to cry out in pain, but she wouldn't.
"And why would that be?" Kate asked them with a tilt of her head, whilst trying to get her arm out of the woman's grip. "You made Glen sleep with you, you probably forced him to, got yourself pregnant and then you keep his little boy from him for four years?" the smallest of the three said as the bigger one slapped her arm hard enough to make her feel it.
"You have no idea what you're talking about and I'd like for you to go now," she told them with a glare, she'd really had it with all of this, she hadn't done a thing wrong. Once again, George's actions were coming back to bit her in the ass.
"You've even got the Royals fooled and their supposed to be smart." the one who hadn't spoken laughed in her face as Kate tried to look around for anyone, but no one was around. "You don't know me and you have no right to corner me like this, go now," Kate told them, wanting to leave and get this done with. She wanted to go home and wrap her arms around her little one and hold him close to her.
"Maybe we should take your son away from you like you did from Glen, that would certainly teach you a lesson, wouldn't it." The bigger one of the three threatened her as Kate's maternal instinct kicked in. "You stay away from my son," she told her with a glare if they'd been bullets she'd be dead on the ground.
"What are you going to do about it?" they asked her as they took a step closer to her, pushing her even more against the car behind her. "You're just a pathetic excuse of a woman and we can do whatever we like, give you what you deserve, to lose your son as well." the tiniest one of the three said as the bigger one grabbed both her arms and pulled her against her before smashing her against the side of her car. Her head bouncing off of it as she saw stars appear in her vision before the breath was knocked out of her as a fist collided with her stomach.
"If I were you, I'd keep an eye on my son." were the last words she heard as Kate got in her car as fast as she could. She didn't care about the blurry vision or the pain in her stomach. Arthur was all she cared about at this point and nothing else, digging in her purse, she pulled out her handbag and dialled Kate's number. Normally Arthur would be at KP by now since the school was out and Catherine would have gone to pick him up.
"Catherine is Arthur with you?" Kate questioned the moment she heard Catherine pick up her phone. "Of course, where else would he be? " Catherine chuckled softly as she heard the children playing in the background. "What's going on Kate?" Catherine asked her as Kate started the engine. "I'm on my way, I'll tell you when I get to KP," Kate told her as she stormed out of the parking lot and towards Kensington Palace. At this point she didn't care if she was speeding or not, she wanted to see her son and make sure for herself that he was alright.
Once she got there, Catherine was already at the front door, Arthur and George on either side of her legs as Kate got out of the car and rushed up to them and crouched down in front of her son, her arms held open. "What's going on mummy?" Arthur asked his mum as he rushed into her arms when he noticed his mum had tears in her eyes. "What's going on Kate?" Catherine asked her, looking down at Kate with worry in her eyes.
"Someone approached me in the parking lot, some of Glen's fans I suppose, they name called me, threatened me. They threatened to take Arthur to make me feel what Glen had felt during the years I supposedly kept him away from him." Kate admitted this had been going on for an entire week, not the threatening her son, it was the last straw. She was tired from it, she wasn't used to dealing with such a hatred. Sure not everyone liked her, she got that not everyone could like someone. Some of the people at the museum, felt like they'd been passed by Kate's promotion, but those were few. She didn't care about those, but the hatred she was subjected to right now. That she did care about, it questioned her character and made her turn out to be like a person she was not. And then to top it all off they had threatened her son.
