Kate loved organising and she'd been in joy to arrange everything. It was that weekend. She was a bit stubbed that the first weekend of Glen's two-week break Kate would be gone for the weekend. But being pampered for an entire weekend was a pretty great prospect. Glen was going to watch Arthur for the weekend and he had plans to go to Dublin so he could introduce Arthur to every one of his family. On one way Kate was happy to not be thrown into the deep like her son was going to be.

"Can't wait for next weekend," Kate admitted with a chuckle as she relaxed on the couch of Catherine and Will's place. "Not looking forward to seeing Glen?" Catherine asked her with a chuckle as she took a sip from her cup of tea.

"I'm always happy to spend time with Glen," she told her with a big smile and Catherine couldn't be happier for her friend. there was a huge difference in her since reuniting with Glen and she glowed, there were no other words for it. So for her sake, everyone within the family was going to give Glen a pass on the hurt he'd done to Kate. If he really made her as happy as she was now, he could be forgiven in the end it hadn't even been his fault.

"But he's going to Dublin with Arthur to introduce him to the rest of his family. I'm kind of happy to not be thrown into the deep end." Kate told her with a chuckle as her son dashed into the room from having his hair cut by Amanda. "Look mummy my hair," he told her as she let out a chuckle, running her hand over his hair. Before he'd always had rather long hair, it was the first time it was so short and he looked even more like Glen at this point. Even George had a similar haircut and she couldn't help but chuckle as they started to chase after one another.

"You need your haircut, Kate?" Amanda asked her as she nodded her head. In a way, they were already getting pampered today as she was going to have her hair dyed to hide her blond locks from coming through. "How short?" Amanda asked her as she got on the chair in the bathroom as she and Catherine continued to talk with Amanda. "Shoulder maybe a bit different but not too short so I can put it up you know," Kate explained and Amanda always knew the exact thing to do as she started to dye her hair a shade darker her familiar chestnut locks with lighter highlights in them. "It's Glen," Catherine noted as Kate was getting her hair dyed and he was facetiming. "Answer," she told Catherine, it wasn't uncommon for them to answer each other's phone in moments such as these.

"Kate?" she heard Glen asked, probably surprised to see Catherine's face on the screen.

"Yea Kate and I switched for a day." Catherine laughed as she heard the familiar laughter of the lads before a small gasp, probably surprised to find Catherine on the screen. "Cambridge stop annoying my boyfriend," Kate told her as Catherine switched the screen as she took her phone.

"What are you doing?" Glen asked her as Kate rolled her eyes. "She's waterskiing," Catherine called out to Kate and Amanda let out a snort. "Don't ever change Cambridge," Kate told her with a smile on her face whilst shaking her head.

"Don't bloody plan to," Catherine noted as Kate rolled her eyes. "I'm getting my hair dyed and cut," she told him with an obvious tone as she noticed the three lads laughing. "Arthur you dad's on the phone," Catherine yelled out as her voice echoed in her bathroom. "Damn Cambridge my ears haven't recovered from this afternoon yet," she told her the people on the phone and Catherine laughed. "You're going to scream yourself in labour," she told her as Arthur dashed into the room. "Daddy." Arthur smiled as Kate tilted away from her son with her hair dye. "look, daddy, Amanda cut my hair." Arthur said with a big grin as he took her phone and went to sit on the toilet seat in the bathroom as the two of them chatted.

"See what I mean, my son is kidnapping my boyfriend and my phone," Kate noted to Catherine as she heard Glen call something, but she couldn't hear what. "Kate, Charlotte wants you to read her bedtime story," Will noted as he stuck his head around the corner.
