I watched the sunset sink over the horizon; amazed
The wind blew softly; the tides crash slowly
Sitting down there, I was amusedly dazed
Watching the beautiful view, I was wonderstruck; wholly
But then night time came, along with its friend: darkness
The waves grew bigger, roaring with evil
Strong wind rushed violently at me with its angriness
Before I knew it, it became a tsunami; an upheaval
Things were lost in the disaster, a lot of things
Memories, treasures and often times, a life
I was drowning, praying for a pair of wings
But the water was already there, I couldn’t survive
I let my guards down, even admired you for a second
But you’re just a bloody backstabber, I reckon
