|• Chapter One: Part Two •|

Start from the beginning

    "Why?" The boy asked.

"Your father and I need to work so we can get more stuff, like cookies," I said softly, kissing his cheek before prying him off of my body, "you're a little monkey huh?" I joked

    "No! I'm your little spark!"

"You are," I smiled, I watched his eyes twinkle as I spoke.

"See, Stars," he pointed to the top of his bunk, the little green stick on stars were placed sporadically across his bed.

"I see your stars, you get to sleep under them now," I said softly, kissing his forehead and pulling up his galaxy bed sheets.

    "Night-Night,"

"Goodnight my light," I said softly. I pulled away from my son, slowly walking out of his room to meet up with Anson at the door. He leaned against the frame, smiling at both of us.

"You're so good with him," he said softly. I looked at my son for the last time for the night and then flipped off the light.

"I have to be...he needs someone,"

"He needs more than just you and Le," Anson walked with me down the hallway, stopping at our room. He opened the door

"Sparks needs us, Anson. William told me that he begs for us. Just last week..." I inhaled sharply, "he had another episode, and he wanted us. Anson, don't you understand we need to be there for him?"

"He needs help Ella, why don't you understand that?" Anson protested, "he needs serious help. You, nor Le or any of us can help him,"

"I'm not sending him to some insanity place, or an Institute, he's better than that," Anson opened the door and stepped into our bedroom. He immediately took off his shirt.

"Well, you're going to have too if you want him to get better," he threw his shirt into the hamper.

"No! I can't...I can't do that to him. He's such a bright kid! Just because he doesn't function like other kids doesn't making him some disgrace! He's just different!" I pleaded

"Well, it's not my fault you almost killed him," Anson seethed.

"I-I-" I pursed my lips, tears welling up in my eyes, "I- It wasn't my fault," I wrapped my arms around my stomach.

"It was your fault for not screaming for me." He said

"No, it wasn't. I-I I couldn't..." I shook my head. My heart pounded in my ears.

   "Sure," He blamed me.

"I'm sorry," I bit the inside of my lips. My heart swelling up in my throat, causing my words to just be drowned into sobs. I slowly walked over to Anson, gasping.

"Ella," Anson said sternly, "Ella!" He grabbed onto my arms, and shook me. My vision blurred

"Ella, can you hear me?" His voice somewhat trembled.

I swallowed harshly. I nodded my head and breathed heavily. Fighting my arms around my chest as I tried calming down.

    "I can't-"

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have talked about it, Ella, you gotta calm down," he sat me on the bed. I felt the mattress sink my body into it.

I cried harder, trying to rip out of Anson's tight hands.

"Your-you're hurting me," I whimpered.

His hands loosened slightly, keeping my arms above my head. I looked around helplessly, seeing that I was laying down on the edge of the bed, breathing heavily. A sob came from my mouth again as Anson tried to calm me down; which didn't work. Not this time.

    "Let go," I cried

"I let go, please, calm down, I'm sorry...I didn't mean to scare you," he said softly, "I didn't mean to hurt you dear," I felt his warm hand run against my cheek, wiping away the tears that streamed down like ribbons.

I realized he had completely stepped away from me, I pushed myself up against the headboard, feeling my back rest against the fluffed decorative pillows. My hands trembled against my knees when I pulled my body together. My fingers moved quickly, thumping against my legs.

   "I-I I didn't mean too..."

"I'm sorry-"I looked up at Anson, blinking away more tears as I looked at his blurry figure.

"I'm sorry," I said quietly, trying to keep my breathing at a normal pace.

"I didn't know your attacks started up again...was this your first? Since..." he didn't finish his sentence, he knew that I knew what he meant. I shook my head

"What?!" Anson looked at me in pure shock. He got on the bed, kicking off his shoes and socks before climbing in beside me. "When?"

"A few weeks- no months ago,"

"Does Will know? I nodded my head. Anson let out a strong breath.

    "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Be-because this would happen..." I leaned my head on his shoulder, "I think I need to sleep it off..."

He sat silent for a moment before whispering a small "okay", and then helping me  take off the clothes I was wearing.

I stripped off my shirt, which had a few spots of a reddish tint too and then I stood up slowly, heading for my dresser which had a pair of pajama shorts and a t-shirt of Ansons. I grabbed both of the items and walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind me.

Anson didn't say anything about me closing the door. I knew the rules when it came too it. Simply not too shut the door.

It was out of his safety and mine as well...but fuck that. He'd just have to deal without it this time. I threw on the clothes and tied my brown hair up in a bun, quickly brushing my teeth before joining Anson. He was already stripped down to just his boxers, covering his body with the blanket. The decorative pillows were in front of the bed, on the floor.

"Come here," he said softly, pulling me in his embrace.

I turned my body so I could fully face him, pulling the covers over me. Anson pulling me closer to him with his arms, making sure I was protected by him.

"Goodnight," he whispered, "I love you okay?"

"I love you too," his lips pressed against the top of my head as soon as my eyes fluttered closed, sending me into a series of sparks and lighting.
