I'll Be Your Hero

Chapter 2: The Hero's Trail

It has been a couple of months since Y/n told Ruby his past and she started to more be happy to see him and a festival was going on and Y/n's team was going up next in the singles as it was Y/n vs Mercury Black. So as they were at the arena Y/n had his combat gear on as thy soon began to fight as Mercury dashed at Y/n as he did the same while charging One For All

(like that)

As Y/n was charging at Mercury. Mercury  went for a kick to Y/n as he did the same and their kicks collided as they both jumped back but Y/n charges again as he went to 10% and went faster to when he punched Mercury back as he pretended he was down till he kicked Y/n at the back of his head and he gets up slowly and looked at him as he soon launched himself at him and kicked his face away from the arena knocking him back but he manage to stand his ground as he spit at the ground

Mercury: "You know what I've always wondered why that pathetic 15 year old would be here at this school."

After Y/n heard that and grits his teeth in anger as Ruby started to look depressed until she heard Y/n

Y/n: "YOUR WRONG SHE'S NOT PATHETIC SHE IS A VERY TALENTED, BRAVE, AND BEAUTIFUL YOUNG LADY AND I LIKE HER JUST THE WAY SHE IS!!!"

Y/n yelled loudly as Ruby blushed red and Y/n began to run but instead he dashed like a lighting bolt at him as Y/n unlocked a new level of using One For All without noticing as he was now in 26% of his semblance and soon tried to kick Mercury in the face as his foot missed and send an electrical spark at his face

But as Y/n continues to attack Mercury he soon tried to kick his arm as he was blocking his attack as Mercury looked at Y/n as he was pissed off

Y/n: "You are going down and your gonna pay for saying that about her!"

Y/n soon kicked Mercury into the sky as Y/n was on the ground and Y/n launched himself to get behind him as he was gonna block a one of my kicks so Y/n used his fist and punched him

Y/n: "26% DETROIT SMASH!!!"

As he yelled he send Mercury to the ground seeing that his legs were robotic and they said Y/n claimed to be the victor as Y/n pants heavily as he camed down and walks away from the arena and Ruby caughts up to him  as she stood in his way

Ruby: "Y/n did you mean it of what you said to him?"

Y/n: "Yes every last word of it. All of it is about you Ruby."

Ruby smiled with her blush and hugged Y/n and he hugged her back as they soon heard a grimm screaming and people in fear as they came out to see Bakugo and Shoto trying to stall while Ida evacuated everyone out of the building as the school lockers came down and forced the grimm to be stuck on the ground and Bakugo explodes its head off with his gauntlets and more grimm arrived at Beacon and that was just the start of the fall of Beacon....

The next day (sorry I'm just too lazy to write what happens in the fall of Beacon)

It was morning and Ruby was slowly waking up to see her father Tai and Qrow arguing about something so she pretends to be asleep

Qrow: "Tai for crying out loud its just one boy. He even helped her out with her depression."

Tai: "Qrow you don't understand this is the son of Inko Midoriya and his father left her when he was young I don't want the same thing to happen to her!"

Tai yelled at Qrow but before Qrow could talk back Ruby pretended to wake up and look at them both

Ruby: "Where is Y/n and Yang?"

Qrow: "Yang's in her room she's okay but she lost her arm and Y/n well him and his team split up so Y/n is with All Might."

Once Ruby heard all of that she got up and head to Yang's room to see her looking out the window and Bakugo resting his head on the bed as he was already asleep and after Ruby had her conversation with Yang she packed up her stuff and heads out to her mother's grave and tells her goodbye and sees her friends Jaune, Nora, and Ren with Shoto waiting for her and soon they began on their journey to Haven Academy.

While for Y/n he was training his but off with All Might and Gran Torino. As they were taking a break Y/n looks out to the sky and to see the stars and one star shined at him

Y/n: "One day we'll see eachother again Ruby I promise."

And with that chapter 2 is finally finished this took me a while since i kept changing it over and over again. But I hope you enjoyed it! ^^
