The Territories & Allegiances

Mage's Territory (Downtown)

Mage is the leader of one third of the city's cat population. Their territory is mostly large businesses. Their cats hunt at all times, and live in the alleyways and abandoned homes of Downtown. They hunt mostly rats and the occasional bird, and are mostly awake during the day.

Fleet's Territory (Farmland)

Fleet is the leader of the farmland side of the city. Farmers like having them around to keep crows and mice off the fields. Farmland cats are awake with the farmers. They rise at dawn and go to sleep at dusk. They're sort of forced to, all that loud machinery makes it hard to sleep. They don't mind the livestock and children learn quickly to leave them alone, whether it be by warning from their parents or a scratch if two of they get too close. These cats also love to climb trees and chase chickens, but they never harm them.

Spades' Territory (Marketplace)

And lastly, Spades is the leader of the final third of the cities cat population. Her side is mostly marketplaces and small businesses. It is constantly bustling with people and food. Cats raised in marketplace are taught how to weave between the peoples' legs and they are forced to memorize every alleyway and streets by heart. Children are avoided by these cats at all costs. Marketplace it a good source of food, once the place empties for the night, it is crawling with mice and rats trying to get an extra nibble, so Marketplace cats are active during day and night.

Chief - Leader

Second in Command/Commander - will become leader after the Chief dies or retires. Fills in if Chief is unable to preform duties

Fighters - these cats are used to defend the borders and gain information from captured cats

Hunters - they hunt for food and feed the whole group. They are also scouts

Sentries - young cats aged 6-14 months training to be Fighters

Scavengers - young cats aged 6-14 months training to be Hunters

Trainees - young cats aged 4-6 moons going through tests to see if they will be a Sentry or a Scavenger. They are not allowed too far out of camp

Queens: she-cats nursing or expecting kits

Kits: young cats aged 0-4 moons. They are not allowed out of the camp
