Crimson

Her hair is crimson,

eyes are like the

depths of the Earth,

hiding secrets beyond mortal comprehension.

Beauty does not do justice to describe

her elegance and grace,

the way she moves effortlessly around people,

making friends wherever she goes.

She doesn’t understand why people stare,

why people look at her like she’s the sun in a world without light.

Her smile mends broken hearts and stops tears.

Someday,

she will understand,

the beauty of her soul,

and the power of her heart.

But until that day comes,

I hope a poem will suffice.
