A Second Chance (Pit x Palutena and Dark Pit x Viridi fanfic)

Prologue

In Hephaestus Workshop:
*Bell Rings*
Hephaestus: "Welcome to my shop, pick something quickly so I can get back to sleep"
Hermes (Mercury): "Loving your work I see"
Hephaestus: *Sigh* "Who sent you this time"
Hermes: "Let's see...The Lightning Chariot needs it's weekly speed test, Artemis needs you to sharpen these spears she took from a hunter spying on her bathing *His funeral* and Poseidon needs his Trident back"
Hephaestus: *Sigh* "Schedule the Lighting Chariot for 2:00pm Test drive. I'll do the spears now, hand them over" *Covered in blood*
Hephaestus:😑 "Not surprised. Go get the Trident it's in the back"

Way in the back:
Hermes: "Wow a glass case with a dark scary weapon under a spotlight near thousands of sharp weapons, what couldn't go wrong here.
Alright here is the Trident" *Picks it up and falls to the floor* *Grunting* Come on..... *Gets a grip* *Loses control and scratches the case*
Hephaestus: "You Ok in there Feather feet"
Hermes: "Yeah!"
Hephaestus: "Don't crack the case! Zeus would have our heads if it broke!"
Hermes: "Ok! (Crap) Ok it's only a tiny scratch and it's barely visible I'm still alive" *Walks awkwardly out*

A Dark Aura Fills the case

Hermes: *Puts Trident and Spears in his bag* "Well gotta get that Chariot"
Hephaestus: "Why didn't you do that before?"
Hermes: *Shrugs shoulders*
Hephaestus: *Sigh* *Looks at the weapons he created*
Hermes: "Don't worry Dude someone will use your weapons soon"
Hephaestus: "Yeah soon..... *Goes to create more custom weapons* *Mumbles* Maybe Master was right.
Hermes: What?
Hephaestus: "Later Twinkle Toes"
Hermes: "Would you stop with the bad nicknames"
Hephaestus: "Would you prefer the name I called you after that party?"😏
Hermes:😳 "Nope. I'm Fine"

During their discussion:
Darkness pours out from the Sword, leaving a puddle that slowly starts to take shape

Medusa: "What?! I'm Back. Did Hades revive me again! I told him I'm not..." *Wrong!*
A voice boomed in her head
Medusa: What! Who? *Keep it down unless you want to die!*
Medusa: *Who and Where are you?!*
Sword spirit: *Over here You revolting snake, I brought you back to help me*
Medusa: *I Don't Take Orders From Any One, Especially A Pathetic Sword Like You. I Have A Goddess To Kill And To Strip An Angel Of His Wings*
Sword Spirit: 😈 *Oh I'm not giving you orders. By all means slaughter them I'm just offering to help you kill them faster*
Medusa:😈 *Keep talking*
Sword Spirit: *I'm the God Slaying sword, but my dark power was sealed away by those Infernal Gods, I will give you my power if you break the seal. The Gods won't be able to stop you*
Medusa: *And you are giving me the freedom to kill whoever I so desire*
Sword Spirit: *Yes*
Medusa: *......Alright you got yourself a deal*
She uses a portal to get the sword undetec... *Alarm goes off*
Medusa: Grrrrr

She grabs the sword, destroying the wall and jumps

Sword Spirit: What are you doing?!
Medusa: The gate to the Underworld should open in 20 seconds I just need to stall long enough

Hephaestus starts shooting
A/N Hephaestus is using the Fireworks Cannon and Hermes will be using the Boom Orbitars
Hephaestus: I don't know how you got back Medusa but I won't let you reek havoc on Skyworld, The Human realm or any for that matter!!!
Medusa: Please You. You don't even know how to fight you blacksmith apprentice!! I'll turn you stone!! Hah! *Starts shooting from her eyes*
Hephaestus Dodges the shot, fires at will.
Medusa Deflects shots with her staff.

Sword Spirit: *Something's not right. There are other shoots coming from somewhere.* Wait there's.....
Medusa: !
Hermes: I'll take that! Nice doing business with ya!
Medusa: Grrrrrrrr, Aggghhh *Gets hit* 5 more seconds
The sword glows pitch black and envelopes Hermes in the darkness. His eyes turn black and bleeds all over. *Lets go of the sword, And Falls*

Medusa grabs the sword in time
Medusa: 2..1 Goodbye
Hephaestus: Hermes! *Catches him in time*
Damn You Medusa...YOU SNAKE!!!!!!!

~In the Underworld
Medusa: Well well I guess you did have some powers I could use
Sword Spirit: *Emitting evil aura* I can finally change my form *Changes into a snake's eye*
Medusa Puts him on her weapon
Medusa: *Evil aura* Prepare yourself Oh Goddess of Light. This Will be an Onslaught you will never see coming *Evil laughter*

~Off in the distance
2 people running
???: *Gasping for air* *Continues to run*
?: Who are you? And what are we running from?
???: *Keeps running*
Unidentified Object try's to swallow them
?:*Get's thrown forward*
???: *Getting swallowed* Pit! Run!
Pit: *Wakes up* Ah!

A/N: Yes the scabbard is covering the sword just in case you were wondering
