Pulling up to the driveway, arias head is still reeling. The boys aren't back yet, so the two head inside and sit at the kitchen table. The ride home was very quiet and fast. No one wanted to be the first to speak. The silence walked inside with them, opened the door, and parted.

"So... you okay?" Katie asks in hopes of maintaining some sanity.

"Yeah, I just don't want anymore run ins. He always does that. He always makes it my fault. To be completely truthful, it is my fault." Aria looks down, tears catching her eyes

Katie grunts. "It's not your fault! The actions of other people are beyond you. He decided to be a shit. You didn't provoke that, all you did was exist. That's a him problem. Not you. You need to realize that anything anyone else does is beyond your control. You could tel me to punch you in the face but if I actually did it, technically it's still not your fault."

Aria rolls her eyes. "How is that not my own fault? Like if I asked you to punch me, that'd be my fault."

"Technically no. Wanna know why? I'll tell you. Because I made the decision to punch you. Just because you asked me to doesn't mean I have to. Doesn't mean it's a good idea. Thus making it my fault if I punch you. Simply because it was my decision to carry out the movement." Katie finishes her rant by crossing her arms and taking a deep breath.

Aria rolls her eyes again. "You're full of it."

Katie shrugs her shoulders. She doesn't really care what people think anymore. She used to care on a large scale. After everything happened, she stopped caring. She learnt that the actions of others were never really her fault. Perhaps, she thought, her analogy only made sense to her.

Aria was a different story. She learnt that her significance never branched past that of a punching bag to her father. Because of that, she never understood someone who could hold themselves high on their own two feet. She saw Katie as a real leader.

The two sit on the couch and turn the tv box on. Katie flips through the channels and squeals. "Rick and Morty!" Katie smiles big. "You're gonna love it."

She did not in fact love it.

"Whyyyyyyy, it's so stupid!" Aria groans.

Katie scoffs. "The hell?! It's so funny! You've gotta warm up to it, you've gotta! Come on, there's a whole marathon and you're watching with me." Aria groans.

-six hours of eventual laughter later-

"Okay fine you're right, it was funny! Let's watch the next one!" Aria booms.

Katie reads the title: Meeseeks and Destroy. "Oh, uhm maybe we should skip this one and make some food." Katie turns the tv off. "Let's go make pizza!" Katie smiles.

Aria glances at the dark screen. "What's bad about that episode?" Aria could tell Katie was hiding something.

Katie sighs. "There's a bad scene in this episode. It involves things that might give you some ptsd, so I don't think it's a good idea to watch it.." Katie stops for a second. "I don't like that one either. It makes me uncomfortable. I'd rather not put you through that." Katie gets gloomy for a second and looks down thoughtfully. She pops back up and bears her smiley teeth. "Pizza?"

       Aria smiles. "Pizza."

A few hours later, the boys finally come back. The two girls are curled up watching more tv. "Girls, we're home." Darius pipes up.
