Chapter 23

Next day~

CHAEYOUNG'S POV

"Hey jihyo unnie. where are we going? The class  ends in 1 hour" i said as jihyo unnie dragged me outside the class

"Dahyun and the others are doing something, i don't know but they wanted us to buy their stuff they said its really important. I have the list here" she said and handed me the list

"okay" i said since she doesn't even know what they are doing i just shrugged the urge of asking her about it we are walking in the hallway when jihyo unnie's phone rang

"Wait i'll just take this call" jihyo unnie said as she stopped and answer her phone while she was answering her phone i saw Mina walking her head held down

"Oh okay i'll be there sir" jihyo said as she ended the call "who is it unnie?" I asked "the principal wanted me to come in his office he said he wanted me to do something about the activities for the camp" jihyo unnie said

"But i thought we will buy the stuffs dahyun needed?" I asked "yes about that can you buy it to your self? please" jihyo unnie asked at that time we saw mina walking still held her head down

"Mina!" Jihyo unnie said "what are you doing unnie don't tell me that you will asked Mina to go with me at the mall?" I said "shh do you want to buy alone?" She asked i shake my head "i thought so too" she said and smile

"Hey Mina!" Jihyo unnie called Mina again "aish!" I said to my self "oh! Jihyo unnie whats up" Mina asked "can i asked you a favor? Can you please go to the mall with chaeyoung she needs to buy some stuff for dahyun and the others" jihyo unnie said

"But-" Mina and i both said in the same time "no buts, i have to go now, thank you Minari"she said when she walk away i frowned because now im stuck with mina, and this is AWKWARD

Although i was really hoping to talk with her but not in this time because we are going to buy stuffs for dahyun and i know she is still hurt about what dahyun said

MINA'S POV

"But i have to go, Daisy is waiting for me" i said but its useless jihyo unnie is already gone "im sorry" chaeyoung suddenly said "why?" I asked "i know that you are going to hangout with Daisy and becuse of me it will be canceled" she said looking down

'Oh this is really awkward' i thought to my self "uhm... i-its o-okay? Maybe we will just hangout another time" i said nervously "so what stuffs do we have to buy?" I asked before everything goes really awkward

"I really don't know jihyo unnie just handed me this list for the stuffs" she said and giggled a bit "cute" i said "thanks i guess?" She said and she blushed 'what! She heard it ? I thought i was just talking to my mind' i thought to my self

After what i said it became silent its AWKWARD " come on lets go now" she said and she grabbed my hand and pull me outside the school i was just silent the whole time she held my hand

Im actually smilling the whole time but i always look down to prevent her from seeing me blush she suddenly let go of my hand that causes me to look at her "sorry for holding your hand Mina" she said 'its okay chaeng i miss this when we always do this stuff before i confess to you" i said to my self

"I-its o-okay Chaengie" i said and she blushed "you still call me chaengie" she said and look into my eyes "um... y-yeah" i said and look away those eyes are one of the reason why i love her

"Lets buy the things now" i said and we walk at the nearest mall to buy the stuffs i forgot to message Daisy that i can't come i'll just apologize to her tomorrow

We buy all the stuffs that is in the list and we walk out of the mall " do you want some icecream? My treat" she asked "yeah, sure" i said we walk towards the icecream shop beside the mall

"One strawberry and One vanila please" she said to the vendor 'wow she didn't forget my favorite flavor of icecream' i said to my self "here " she said and handed me the vanila one

"Thanks" i said and grab the icecream we planned on staying for a while at the bench just outside the store we take a seat and look at the surroundings

"Remeber when we always buy this icecream when we were kids back then" she said and smile "yeah.. you still remember my favorite flavor" i said "of course!" She said proudly

"I miss this" chaeyoung suddenly said i didn't answer "before this whole thing happens we are actually happy" she added "yeah" thats the only thing i can answer because everytime she talk i remember how happy we are as friends

And that makes me feel guilty,for having a feelings for her that causes our friendship go through this stuffs

"I miss you" she said "what? Im sorry i didn't quite hear that" i said i know i heard her say i miss you but maybe i just heard it wrong

"I miss you! Pabo" she repeated and chuckled a but "i miss this, all the things we do together when we hangout at your house and play games when we are strolling at the park with jihyo unnie" she said

I just laugh at those thoughts "can't we go back to those times?" She look at me " i hope its that simple chaeyoung, i really do, but for now i don't think its that easy i need some time to move on" i said looking at her

"I know but, just so you know i love you Mina" chaeyoung said i didn't answer " i love you as a friend Mina" she added ' i love you as a friend Mina... as a friend Mina..... friend Mina ' those words keep on repeating on my mind.that stings hard as rock

"We better go back now" i said and stand up but chaeyoung grab my wrist "im sorry Mina , im sorry i hurt you, im sorry i didn't feel the same thing about you, im sorry that i didn't love you the way you love me" she pulled me into a hug

I just cried while she was hugging me i pull out of the hug " its okay Chaeyoung i'll promise we'll go back to what we used to be i just need time" i said wiping my tears off

She hug me again for 5 seconds then she pull off and we started to walk my eyes are a bit teary because of what happened earlier her eyes too since we both cried for 10 minutes

We arrive at the school "so where is dahyun?" I asked "hmmm.. let me call her" she said and she dialed dahyun through her phone she ended the call just about 5 minutes of talking

"So where are they?" I asked im not mad anymore i think the scar is now healing since i talk with chaeyoung and heard her side " she said she's at the rooftop" she answered

"Lets go?" I said we walk to the hallways and up the stairs while we carry this stuffs up its just a bunch of random stuffs like snacks, paper plates, plastic cups, drinks and other kinds of foods

"I think they are going to have a party based on what we buy" i said "yeah i think so too" chaeyoung said we arrive at the top floor only one stairway until we reach the rooftop

"Wait Mina!" Chaeyoung said i stop "its really nice hanging out with you again" she said i smiled "yeah you too" i said and she smiled and i opened the door to the rooftop for her since she carries the heavy stuffs because she's more stronger than me

"SURPRISE!!!"
