So I'm a junior in high school, and I'm taking a Creative Writing class (❤ you Mrs Smith) and we're working on a poetry unit. Bloodborne was my inspiration for a pantoum; that's a repetitive style where the second and fourth lines of one stanza are reused as the first and third lines for the following stanza, and this pattern continues until the poem is concluded. Here is my poem:

The Hunter's Nightmare
Scholars who sinned,
The blood-cursed rise.
The wailing orphan,
Murdered by fiends.
The blood-cursed rise,
Prowling the city.
Murdered by fiends,
Damned to the Nightmare.
Prowling the city,
Sanity lost to beasthood.
Damned to the Nightmare,
A true hunt unending.
Sanity lost to beasthood,
The Nightmare beckons.
A true hunt unending,
But who is the prey?
