' The ground disappears, I hold back the tears
I check my phone to see your face'
I look out the window as the ground gets further and further away. Its real. It all hits me. Sobs rack my body as I sit scrunched up in his hoodie. My lock screen of my phone shines a photo of me and Maxi one morning, cuddling in bed together. I plug my earphones in and lay back in my seat, closing my eyes and settling in. Breathing in his scent from the hoodie and scrunching my eyes to hold back more tears. I miss him already.
A love that can only last a summer.
