Chapter 2||

James POV

I managed to cry myself to sleep after a while of tossing and turning for an hour or so.

[Time skip!]

I wake up to two strong and full of power growls making me jolt awake and walk backwards with my head bowed down out of submission knowing who the growls belong to. "E-Eliot? Owen? W-what are you guys d-doing down h-here?"

Fear obvious in my voice they chuckle they come closer to me and I back up, this goes on for a minute or so until my back hits the wall and I'm cornered.

I was about to mind link Quinn (my wolf) for help when Eliot and Owen start speaking
"Did you hear? Pup, the alpha of the MoonLightScar pack is coming to visit. I heard that he's looking for his mate... The alpha has announced that he knows that his mate is male due to his wolf and the alpha has looked everywhere for his

mate, he's been to almost every pack trying to find him and the alpha of the MoonLightScar pack has a feeling that his mate must be here In the EasternSpring pack. And he's gonna be here in two days searching the pack."

Thoughts of worry, fear, curiosity and many more start to fill my head as I listen to their words. "W-what does that have t-to do with m-me?" I ask with my voice just over a whisper, they look down at me making eye contact with smirks spreading across their faces as they say "Dad wants to kill you before he can arrive."

My heart drops and tears start to form in my eyes, I'm in shock as I took in what they had just said. They both start to laugh historically and turn around, walk out of the basement and leave me there petrified. I slide down from the wall to the still very freezing basement floor, I'm surprised that I've survived being down here since I'm not fed enough and it's absolutely freezing 24/7.

If I am being honest dying right now doesn't seem so bad.
