Remembering Him (A Stucky Story)

Chapter 2

Bucky's POV      

        As we drive to our destination, I look around and take in the sights. I never realized how beautiful this place was. It so beautiful that I don't realize Steve shaking me.

        "Buck, Buck, you in there bud"?, he says.

        "Yeah, I'm here, I'm just taking in everything. What is that place over there", I say.

        "Not sure, but maybe we can here later, after we get you settled at Stark Tower. Anyways you should go to sleep, we have a 3 hour drive ahead of us", he says, smiling.

        I try to get as comfortable as I can but I eventually give up. I lay my head on the window and think about Steve, trying to remember more of him and how we were.

Steve's POV

        Me, Sam, and Nat have a few conversations as we drive to Stark Tower. All of Avengers including Sam have been staying up in the Tower since SHEILD is no more. We've all just moved in pretty recently so we're still unpacking.

        After an hour or so I look over and see Bucky. He's sleeping but with a scared look on his face. He must be having nightmares. I remember when I just came out of the ice, I kept having nightmares. I still have them today but they aren't that bad.

        Bucky starts to fidget and his face gets more tense, I shake him to wake him up. I can't let him go through that especially if he starts to kick or punch. He wakes up and throws a punch, almost hitting my face but hit the seat inbetween us, breaking it.

        "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that. It's just in my code to do that", he says as he takes his hand and shoves it into his pocket.

        "It's okay", I dismiss the last sentence trying hard to not to think to hard on it.

        "We're halfway there, guys. And please don't break anything else", Natasha says.

        "Oh, okay", I say.

        "Hey Steve, I was wondering how I was going to live there. I mean I barely have anything", Bucky says questioning the whole plan.

        "I was think that once we get there you get adjusted to everything and then we could go on a shopping spree".

        "Okay, thanks Steve".

        "No problem Bud", I say almost saying remember I'm with you till the end the line but I feel like Bucky would explode with memories if I said that so I just keep silent.

--- At Stark Tower ---

Bucky's POV

        The big tower illuminates a big A as we head into it. Surrounding it are buildings in all sizes. Together they illuminate the sky with light, below people walk the streets even though its night. Taxis drive and fill the streets but we quickly get away from the road madness as we pull up into a parking lot.

        I get out of the car, expecting to see the lot filled but it isn't, this must be a private parking area. Two of Steve's friends Nat and Steve, go ahead to the end of the parking lot. By the time Steve is out of the car he says, "Welcome to Stark Tower or soon to be Avengers Tower, Bucky".

        "Place looks a bit empty".

"Well this is the parking lot so".

        Both of us meet up with Nat and Sam, together we go up the elevator. We reach a floor, which seems to be the main floor where everyone is. There are only a few people there.

        One is wearing a purple shirt who is talking to a man who has a drink in his hand. Next to the drinking man is a muscular man who has long blonde hair. Two people are sitting on the couch. One is a man who looks at Nat with loving eyes. Another is a girl with red hair who looks like she would rather be somewhere else.

        "Hey guys we're back. We're back with a new person".

        They all turn there heads and look at me some with loathing stares, others with scared looks on their faces.

        The first one to break the silence is the girl who says "Hey there Bucky, I'm Pepper Potts. It's nice to have you here". She walks up and shakes my hand.

        "And my name is Tony Stark. I'm Pepper's Boyfriend and also Iron Man", says the man who is drinking.

        The man in the purple shirt gets out of his seat and walks over to me, "I'm Bruce Banner, the hulk". After I get introduced to Thor and Clint (Hawkeye). After we are done with introductions Steve leads me to a floor that is set to be ours.

        When we arrive on our floor I walk out and say, "So those are your friends".

        "Yeah and they are also the avengers".

        That's how I know them,  I remember Hydra talking about a group of superheroes who are there to protect the world form the world's greatest villians. There names are starting to make sense now too. "Oh, I remember now, Ironman is Tony in a metal suit. Hulk is the other side of Banner. Hawkeye is the bow and arrow dude while Nat is the famous assassin Black Widow. Finally we have Thor the norse god".

        "That's right".

        "Well, its great to meet them. Umm, you got any food. I haven't ate in awhile so".

        "Oh yeah, we can order pizza".

        "That would be great".

        Steve orders a pizza, he doesn't ask me what I want on it. Probably to surprise me. I go to the couch and sit there to looking at my surroundings.

        There's a big tv, with a bunch of cases near it. In font of me is a coffee table with magazines and a thin piece of machinery. On top of it has a picture of an Apple on it. I don't touch because I'm afraid i'll break it so I just sit back and wait for Steve.

        Steve comes over and I start to ask about the technology of today. Steve kindly fills me in on everything. From the microwave to the apple laptop on the table. As he ends the lesson, the pizza has arrived and we are planning to watch a movie.

        "You know we should watch Frozen", Steve says getting plates out of the cabinet.

        I laugh then say, "Ironic isn't it".

        Steve smiles and says "Funny, I didn't notice that".

        Together we sit with a reasonable amount of space between us and eat out pepperoni pizza. As the movie starts I finish my 1st piece and I get another one. Once we're done with the pizza we sit back and enjoy the film. Though the songs are a bit annoying I sing along and start to like them. Steve looks at me when I sing along to Elsa's song, but I don't care. I elbow him softly, inviting him to sing along. He joins in and together we sing the song on the top of our lungs.

Steve's POV

        When the movie ends, Bucky is already asleep. I decide to crash on the couch too since I'm too tired. The couch is way to small for me and him but somehow we both sleep together comfortably. Falling asleep I think about me and Bucky.

A/N Hey guys. Hoped you liked this little frozen segment. Anyways I've decided that ill be alternating updates between weeks so starting next week will be a Crossing update then after that week with be another update on this. I might update a bit more if I can handle it but other than that I should be good. Please comment if you like that idea. Anyways i'll see you guys later.
