Tae chugged down the apple juice while his wife, Linda, fixed his tie.

It's been the same routine for months now.

Wake up.
Change.
Drink apple juice while Linda fixes his tie.
Eat a short breakfast.
Go to work.
Come home.
Sleep.
Repeat.

Tae wondered that if in some alternate universe his life was a bit more adventurous.

"Let's eat, I made eggs and toast." Linda smiled, pressing a quick kiss onto Tae's lips.

With every kiss, Tae felt a sense of withdrawal.

It felt as if her lips weren't meant to be pressed onto his. Even after all these months, her touch still felt so foreign to Tae.

Everything from the way she would push his hair back, to the way it felt to hold hands with her.

Tae wondered why he chose to marry her if the chemistry wasn't there.

But at the end of every night, Tae would hold her and tell himself tomorrow is a new day.
