My name is Alice and I am a registered nurse in a Pediatric Emergency Department at a Level 1 Trauma facility. Along with writing, nursing is one of my greatest passions, so I thought it would be a cool idea to combine the two together!
Here, I will be posting about my journey as a nurse and use this space to reflect on the patients I take care of, sort out my emotions on difficult cases, and share it with those who are interested in what it's like to be the caretaker rather than the patient. I will discuss my best days and my worst and hopefully give the world a new perspective on what it's like to be a nurse and what we go through on a regular basis.
