What is the force ?

YN: oh hey uncle Qrow I was just seeing if anything else happened when the Beowulf..... got to me....
You say looking at him in a nervous voice.

Qrow: we checked over you multiple times, you healed up quite nicely especially with your aura helping. He says not wavering in his voice, but you felt his uneasiness. You could feel him having his guard up, it's like some 6th sense of yours and it was a little unnerving but pretty cool.

YN: Uncle Qrow are you scared of something? You ask trying to understand why you feel his uneasiness. But his eyes widening seemed to have been a good indicator that he was not only surprised but also freaked out a bit.
I'm sorry if I said anything wrong, it's just I can feel your uneasiness....

Qrow just sighs

Qrow: kid I'll be honest I'm a little scared of what you did to that wolf. It just makes me a little uneasy, the last time I saw something like that a lot of good people died. He said still looking at you unwavering

YN: what is it that I have that makes you afraid ? You ask wondering what he is talking about

Qrow: I have some people coming by later that will shed some light on what's going on... I'm last person you want to talk to about this issue. He says walking away.

YN: Uncle Qrow ? You call out to him, he stops walking but doesn't turn around.
Did I do something wrong ?
You ask as he seems mad at you and still doesn't tell you why.

Qrow: To be honest kid, I don't know. I just hope this works out in the end, because you may be called to battle one day. And I don't know if you will answer that call...... or we'll be on the same side if you do. He says walking away again. He then mumbles something. Why does the force have to work the way it does ?

You just stand there in shock, what did he mean by that ? You will always be on his side, does he not know that ? Is it because You saved Ruby and Yang or choked the wolf ? You just couldn't figure out what he was talking about. One question just raised even more questions. That last part was the most mysterious.... the force ? What was the force ?

You keep on thinking about this and go back to your room to get a few more hours of shut eye.

Timeskip to later in the day

You were sleeping until Raven came in and woke you up.

Raven: (Y/N) there are some people here to see you. She says smiling but you could tell it was forced, you could feel her anger but it wasn't directed to you.

YN: ok mom. You say not realizing that you referred her as your mother, Raven just smiles at hearing this and walks out of the room.

You get dressed and went downstairs, there you see Professor Ozpin a man you met about a year ago when Tai and Summer were revisiting Beacon to help out some students on their training. The other man, was someone you've heard of but could never decide on. He was General James Ironwood, you heard a lot about him, he has been involved in all the major exterminations of Grimm and seemed like a good man, but your family always talk about him as if he is, in the words of your uncle, an "asshole tin man". You enter the room and everyone looks at you and immediately Ironwood looks disappointed.

Ironwood: Qrow you didn't bother to tell us that he is an 8 year old child ? He said sounding disappointed

Qrow: I mentioned that he lost his arm, yet the fact that he is young turns you away from the idea that he is the chosen one ? He says giving ironwood the stink eye

Ironwood: whatever. He walks up to you and your a little intimidated because of his tall structure. Tell me young man do you know what the force is ? He asks sternly and as if he expects you to answer like a soldier.
