Four letters one word but man, could it cause a whole lot of pain, suffering, longing and let's not forget the all time favourite
Crazy.
When most people think of love they usually associate it with words like;
happiness
trust
Passion
Oh and least I forget the one widely used by teenagers.
Sex.
But if you ask me I wouldn't use those words to describe love.
Theyre too little, too carnal, too meaningless.
Love in all honesty isn't about that at least to me it isn't.
It's the little things, the big things, the extent one would go to put a smile on the other persons face, it's the sacrifices they would make for the other person, it's always avoiding and purposely not doing the things you know that person hates. It's waiting out in the cold rain just to give someone the questions to an addition know they don't care about just too see his face.
So to say I Cherry Ellis was in love with Derek Matthews according to what most people associated love with was an understatement.
Infact, it was the understatement of the year. No, it was the understatement of the century.
No I am NOT exaggerating. It was definitely the first one that associated with crazy, pain and suffering.
What I would honestly give for him to talk to me, and I mean actually talk to me, you know other than the occasional thanks I get every time I bring slash do his homework for him.
Derek was terribly popular, with every girl fawning for him and all figures I want what I obviously can't have.
As I said he was popular whereas I was the exact opposite.
I kept my nose buried in my books and had literally NO friends I was what you would call a
loner.
But it was okay cause I didn't care for or about anyone in my school, except for Derek of course.
We've loved on the same street for about our whole lives but I doubt he knows my name or that I even exist.
Whereas I developed this crush about 3 years earlier, I can't even explain it, it just happened.
And even though it causes me more pain than joy am okay with it.
