Chapter 31 - Love Is In The Air

Corey and I had already had a lovely dinner, and we were strolling along the waters edge. The city was lit up under the starry sky.
"So what happens now?" Corey asked.
"We finish college and get on with our lives."
"I just want this moment to last forever."
I smiled at him, "Me too, but we can't stop time." I pouted.
"If only..." he trailed off.
"Wow look at Lady Liberty, she's so beautiful." I said admiring the Statue of Liberty.
"She's nothing compared to you." he kissed me.
"You really mean that?" I smiled.
"Every word."
I laid my head in his chest as we stood still admiring the statue. Two people walked up next to us, and they were holding hands. My glance fell on Zoe who was cuddling Dylan I smiled and she returned it.
"Hey guys." Jake called as he stood on the other side of us with Kirsty.
"What is this?!" Zoe squealed excitedly.
"This is the start of a new relationship." Jake and Kirsty nodded.
"I'm glad for you guys." I said happily.
"So where will we go when we finish college?" Kirsty asked, that was a very valid question.
"I don't care where we go as long as we're together." I pointed out.
"Here, here." they all chorused together.
"So here's to being together forever!" Zoe yelled raising her fist above her head in victory.
