"I've been waiting for this moment ever since I saw you on Instagram." You remembered the comments and remembered what he said. You felt more scared since you knew that his intentions weren't exactly the best. He tugged at your pants which caused your knees to jerk up a bit. You had enough so you tried to get loose of his grip, but he was too strong so you lifted your foot up and kicked him, causing him to fall back but not far enough. He aimed his bottle at you so you reached for the door knob but it was stuck you screamed out.
"SOMEBODY, HELP ME." You managed to dodge the glass of his bottle when he aimed for your head but a piece of it cut your neck. You grabbed your neck in pain and sucked all the air you could through your teeth. It stung like hell and you lost balance and fell, landing in more pieces of glass, causing you to scream even louder as they broke your skin on your palms and a little bit on your back.
Somebody opened the door. It was Hank. He quickly grabbed your hand and tugged you out of the room. Tears fell down your face while you watched Hank pull a gun out on Parker.
"What did you do to her?" Parker didn't say anything. As you were about to fall down again, somebody caught you.
"Somebody, get her to a hospital!" It was the female officer.
"I already called one." It was Connor's voice. His voice was heard right above your head but you didn't want to look up. You were bleeding like hell and eventually passed out.
You walked in knives but they phased through your feet like you were a ghost. You saw your parents, your uncle, Kara and Kyrie.
"What are you all doing here?"
"We're fine, we just have scars." Your parents said as they held hands.
"I've gotten the heroin out my system, so I'm perfectly healthy now." Your uncle had his usual jokey-smile as he had his arms crossed behind his back.
"I've been shut down but I'll come back." Kara smiled as she her fingers interlocked in front of her.
"I've been replaced but you can still find me." Kyrie waved with his blue hoodie. You stayed where you were and just smiled.
"I've missed you."
You woke up, looking at a white ceiling.
"Good, she's awake." You tried to turn your head but your neck ached when you did.
"Don't move your neck around too much. The glass shard had made a deep cut." You listened but you didn't do anything and just stayed still.
The heart monitor beeped in your ear. It was both relaxing and uncomfortable. You were bored looking at the ceiling but you had no choice but to just look at it.
It felt like it has been an hour. You had fallen back asleep before you woke up again. You heard the doctor walk into the room.
"You can move your back and neck but only with the help of bed, do you wish to sit up properly now?"
"Yes please." You felt the bed shift into a chair sort of position. It was way more comfortable now. You saw there was a TV right at the end of the bed.
"I can turn on the TV if you wish."
"Uh, sure.." He turned the TV on and the channel was just playing movies. It was playing an old movie on screen, you couldn't remember that name of it but you watched it anyway.
Halfway through the movie, somebody opened the door. You turned your head towards them. It was Hank. Your mouth stayed sealed. He walked in front of the TV and towards the doctor. You couldn't hear what they were talking about but he left shortly after.
"Doc, when am I gonna be let out?"
"If your body heals normally, then approximately in 25 hours. A few veins were cut but some activity might help heal them faster when you're let out."
"Alright..."
You spent those 25 hours resting in bed and watching movies. You felt your body healing as your hands felt less and less tired and your back steadied.
The doctor came into the room.
"The police officers will take you back now. Your clothes will be delivered to you and you can change in the bathroom." You were kinda happy to go but you didn't know what the other emotion was. Your clothes came to you and you walked to the bathroom.
Your black shirt and jeans fell loose on you but it wasn't too inappropriate so you kept them on. Walking outside with the hospital gown in hand, you saw the female officer and Kyrie. The hospital gown was taken away from you as followed the two into the car. You remembered what Kyrie said in your dream.
"I've been replaced but you can still find me." You looked at Kyrie, he was blankly staring out the window. His LED was yellow.
The Kyrie you remembered was friendly, not distant. You got a lot out of him from one field trip. You looked away from 'Kyrie', it was getting uncomfortable.
The female officer parked in the police car park. You got out and so did Kyrie.
Once you walked inside the station, you saw Connor and Hank. Connor turned to you with an emotionless frown and said,
"I need to tell you something." As soon as Connor said that, nearly everybody in the room was set off in some way. You noticed.
"Uh, What is it?"
"It turns out that Parker was the one that started the fire and drugged your uncle."
