Chapter One
Penelope POV

"See you tomorrow Pen!" Lilian my best friend and co-worker shouts.

I smile and wave as I walk out the back door of Starbucks. I swing my backpack around and unzip the front pocket pulling out my AirPods.

I zip my bag back up and put it on before putting my AirPods in. I pull my phone out of my jacket pocket. I open the music app. I click on Harry Styles self titled album Harry Styles; and hit shuffle.

Sign Of The Times began to play. I shove my phone back into my jacket pocket and continue to walk down the street. I softly sung to myself as I turn into the alley that leads to my street.

My breath gets caught in my throat as I'm grabbed from behind and pushed against the wall. A hand covers my mouth.

I let out a gasp and my eyes widen in surprise. I quickly look into a pair of green eyes.

"Don't scream" he whispers as he removes his hand from covering my mouth.

I remain silently pressed against the cool brick wall of the alley. I take an AirPod out of my ear sticking it in my pocket. Green eyes was looking at me really seriously.

"Uh...Hi" I breath. Oh my god.

Green eyes chuckles. His smile is really cute.

Why aren't I screaming? Some green eyed stranger has me pressed up against the wall of an alley at nearly three in the morning.

"You're cute" I blurt.

Green eyes smirks. "You're cuter."

"Wow thats the lamest come back" I say without thinking.

"Well sorry!" Green eyes says rolling his eyes.

We both remain silent for a couple minutes. Not gonna lie I was admiring his face the entire moment of silence.

"You have a nicely structured face" I blurt. I bite my tongue to stop myself from blurting anything else.

"Thanks I guess?" Green eyes chuckles.

My phone begins to ring in my pocket. I pull it out and check the caller ID. It was Calum. I was about to answer it when Green eyes grabs my phone.

"Hey!" I gasp.

"Calm down love, you'll get it back" He replies as he types away on my phone.

He puts it in his pocket. I pout.

"You look cute when you're upset" Green eyes smirks.

I roll my eyes. What is even happening? What was his point in pushing me against this wall.

"So...why do you have me pinned against this wall?" I ask.

"Oh yeah, I wanted to ask you out" he smiles.

"Oh...well I have a boyfriend."

"We both know thats a lie Penelope" Green eyes replies.

"I don't even know you" I reply.
