Melancholy: Means the state of deep sadness and apatheously direction for a few way. Melancholy is a type of depression and has the same symptoms: the person is not interested in anything around it, no event brings pleasure or joy and life ceases to be interested. It is a term originating in the Greek Melancholia that expresses a persistent sadness, often without apparent reason.
