~I might be crazy but I promise you I'm not insane~
It was a cold winters night when it had happened. 1095 days later, all this time he had been waiting for it to happen and it finally was. Xander sits rocking back and forth in the chair in the corner of the room. All he had to do was sit and wait. The straight jacket he was forced to wear was doing nothing to put down his excitement. Not like he wanted to put it on but he had no choice, the sedatives they gave him had taken a toll on him.

In all honesty he was going to miss this place, the place he had called home for the past three years exactly on this day. June 20th 2015 wasn't a great year for most. It was going pretty well for Xander until the incident just had to happen landing him where he was.
Xander was coming back from a long day of school on a hot summer day on June 20th. It was close to his sisters birthday so he decided he should stop by the nearest store to get her a present.
He turned the corner of the street he was walking on. 5th Avenue Park was it? He enters the store immediately walking forwards towards the toy section knowing his little sister loved to play with toys. I mean what do you expect from a 7 year old?
He picks the best looking toy out of the variety of them. Knowing he doesn't have a lot of money on him he decides spending his last bit of money on Annbelle was worth it. He waits in line until it is his turn to pay. He takes out his wallet seeing he only has a 20 left but spends it anyways.
It wasn't like their family was poor it was the fact that the parents refused to give anything to their own kids partially because they didn't like us. They also used most of the money to buy a lot of drugs to sell to their customers. My parents were the best drug dealers in the State, but in my opinion Florida was pretty small.
Xander doesn't spend a long time in the store eager to get back to their house so he can keep Annbelle company and play with her and to keep Annbelle safe from the people he calls his parents. He knew the cold hard truth. His parents didn't care for him, never showed him any love, compassion or even emotion besides anger.
Their parents occasional hit them, but not the smack on the wrist for bad behaviour, their parents would literally leave them bloodied and bruised on their bedroom floor after they were done with them. They abused them on a daily basis claiming they were doing it to protect them. It was partly true, Xander was basically immune to pain. Pain would be inflicted on his body but he would just turn numb, already used to it.
He finally makes it to their house and opens the front door immediately regretting not walking fast enough. In front of him was the sight of his father with his pants unbuckled and on the floor with Annabelle at the brink of unconsciousness in immense pain. Most of her clothes were torn from her body while their mother was sitting on the coach directly across from the scene watching television.
