Hey guys, i guess it's about time I tell you what's so special about today, huh?
Well, first, the winner of the title "competition"? Is "Unexpected Conversation" by @Queen_Of_Dreams_
I chose this one because it rolls off the tongue easily and encompasses the story well. I also asked my bff and she agreed so, thank you to everyone who commented, your ideas were all amazing!!

Now then, deep stuff (kinda). August 28th is my cats birthday. He was my bff until about 2 years ago when he was hit by a car. I don't really get along that well with my family so he was the only one I could talk too (he's the one in the pic (his name is Oreo btw)). The person who hit him didn't stop at all after he killed Oreo, he just squashed him like a bug.

Anyways, no one cares about that! One of the reasons for my inactivity is that just got back from a 3 week long road trip vacation. I live in Michigan and we drove west (all the way to the Ocean) so I didn't have internet most of the time. I saw a bunch of things, like mountains, bears, Buffalo, and even Mount Rushmore! It was fun, but I'm glad to be back!

It's been almost a whole week when Lance's phone lights up with a notification, signaling that he's gotten a text from Keithy boi.

Keef: Hey.

Me: Holy crap hi!! Are you alive?!

Keef: Yes, Lance, I'm alive and well. Sorry I haven't texted you in so long. I really wanted to.

Me: It's fine! I understand that you have stuff going on too.

Keef: Thanks..

Me: So, what's up?

Keef: I want to see you.

Me: I want to see you, too. But, why? Did something happen?

Keef: A lot of things happened and I kind of want to tell you.

Me: Kind of? Why only kind of?

Keef: Well, it's not like they're your problems and I don't want to bother you with random things about me.

Me: Nonsense. I want to hear more about you. I want to be "bothered" by your problems, even though they don't bother me at all. I want your problems to be my problems so we can face them together, you know?

Keef: You're such a weirdo, you know that?

Me: You love me.

Keef: That I do, for some reason.

Lance rolls his eyes at Keith's last comment.

He's adorable. Lance laughs at his own thoughts.

Me: So, what happened?

Keef: My family is... kinda falling apart.

Me: What do you mean?

Keef: Well... it feels weird to explain it over text, can I call you?

Me: Of course, I'd love to hear your voice <3

Keef: Weirdo... <3

Lance immediately goes to Keith's contact, smiling brightly to himself about the heart he received from his boyfriend. Lance's smile shines even brighter.
