"Who got them?" he asked her as she tilted her head to the side. "I knew the cravings I got constantly fruit mostly and herring, sour sweeties. The out of the blue ones like Kate now. They were near the end of my pregnancy and I'd gotten so close to them already at that point. I and Kate were constantly on the phone basically like now." she told him as he let out a small chuckle.
"Sometimes Harry came over with the things I wanted. Sometimes Pippa would bring it if I mentioned it in our group chats," she told him with a tilt of her head and shrug of her shoulders. She remembered one particular evening very well, it had been early June.
Sitting at home on a Saturday evening, the baby was kicking up a storm when the next craving hit her. Really I'm going to be as fat as a pig at the end of all of this' Kate thought to herself as her phone pinged. 'Group Chat: A-Team.' Kate snorted at the name Harry had come up with for this, it was a message from Eugenie that she was bored out of her mind. Next one was from Harry, it surprised her that he was texting at all since he was at a gala dinner in London.
'Aren't you supposed to be working Ginger?' Kate had teased him as she sat cross-legged on her couch, her stomach was way too big to her liking and she still had almost two months to go. "I am, but I'm asleep with the boring speeches, never should have let Dad talk me into this one. zzzzzz' was Harry's reply as Kate let out a chuckle.
'You're an idiot.' Kate replied with a chuckle, as she continued watching Game Of Thrones on her TV. 'How the bump and you?' Harry asked her, the two had grown quite close since getting introduced to each other in late February.
'Baby's kicking up a storm and I'm hungry and I can't be bothered to put on my clothes to go and get it.' Kate replied she wanted a pizza from her favourite Italian not too far from KP. it was a place Catherine had introduced her to as they ordered once every two weeks from it. Someone would go and pick it up since it didn't deliver at home, to bad. She could really do with one right now. But she was dressed in her leggings and top and wasn't feeling up to get dressed back in her jeans or her dress just to go and get a damn pizza.
'What do you want now :-p ;-)' Harry asked her as messages kept popping up in the group chat, but this one was directed at her in a separate one. 'The cheesy crust with sweet chicken curry from Nicolo's." Kate admitted as she dropped her phone back into her lap as it buzzed again. "Damn you, Stevens, now I can get my bum out to get Catherine one :-p." William had sent a text to her as Kate let out a chuckle. "At least she had one to go and get one for her." Kate thought to herself as she rubbed her bump, the baby kicking up a storm. Half an hour later they'd been texting back and forth. Pippa, friends, Kate, William, Zara, Peter, Eugenie, Beatrice, Harry, their partners, the Spencer Children all were in the group chat. It was their way of telling things and making it feel like they were together. It certainly felt like it half the time as a storm of texts would come in at times.
"God who now?" Kate cursed as she got up to let whoever was at her door in or sent him packing.
"What are you doing here?" Kate asked Harry more than a little stunned, he was still dressed in his tux from the Gala, his bow tie, loosely hung around his neck as he kissed her cheek. "Good to see you to Peeters." He teased her as he gave her a small playful nudge.
"Hey little one, been good to your mummy I hope." Harry chuckled, patting her bump as Kate rolled her eyes as she smelled the Pizza. "No way?" she asked him as he carried in a bag and put it down on the living room table. "Yes way, you're way more interesting than those boring old sods. I've got garlic bread, ginger ale for you and a bottle of wine for me." He told her as he moved around in her kitchen. he'd spent enough evening with her now to know his way around. His PO's had his own bed in her spare room office, which had now a sleeping couch in it for his PO. Sometimes he'd come and join her in the evening when he was alone and he wanted company, which was a good thing since she was alone as well and she felt less lonely with him around.
