Living in a cage
Sometimes I feel like a prisoner,
Abandoned in this big wide world.
I feel so lost
And vulnerable
Anyone could take me now.
I'm so short and feathery
Won't anyone come save me?
It's too much to handle
When will I escape?
It's as if I am forced to live in luxury
Kept against my will
They feed me
They play with me
But I feel so alone.
I look around
Bars
Bars everywhere
I feel dizzy
Awkward
Am I supposed to feel awkward?
It's different living in a cage
No one can hear my cries or pleads
No one will come to save me
People would die to live like me
But I would die to live like them.
People
How are they so different?
I am a monster, original compared to the rest.
Until then,
I'm living in a cage.
Won't anyone come save me?
