Prologue

Eunji's POV

How did I end up here...?

How did WE end up here?

All of us, simultaneously taking a bow, hand in hand. Yes, we had counts for synchronization, but I couldn't help myself! I had to look up, even if for just for a moment, to see what I, nay, what WE had accomplished. Despite this being only a moment in time. It felt so mesmerizing, like in the movies, the scene before me was in slow motion.

Never would I've thought to be here. Standing in front of millions of people, not one empty space in this sea filled with our beloveds.

My breath hitched as I was hit with an overwhelming sensation. One would call this euphoria. So strong was this emotion, that I couldn't help but to let go of those confined, and rather foreign crystals from within my eyes, their release long overdue.

My whole life up until now, was spent with me constantly debating whether I were good enough or not, but it looks like that era has come to an end. It's time for me to break free of that time, relish my freedom, and take risks. It's time for me to venture on a new journey, I suppose.

Wait a minute... I thought to myself, suddenly realizing that this felt all too real. I let go of my members' hands and pinched my arm, quite hard at that, instantly hissing at the pain. "These goddamn nails" I murmured, giving my nonexistent 'claws' a death glare. Seung and Hyejin looked at me in confusion, but then started giggling, and after a few seconds, I couldn't help but to join them. I looked to the front and realized why I made myself look like a lunatic in the first place.

"How the fuck did this happen!?"

a/n - Sorry for the crappy prologue, I'm trying to start this book up again but it's proven difficult when you realize that you can't actually write at all and have no creativity whatsoever lol
