Glee Club tryouts.
Today.
Nobody thinks I can sing. Nobody likes me. I'm not gonna get in.
But I told that popular Alexander kid that I would tryout....or at least think about it.

"John Laurens" They called
I wiped my sweaty hand on my sleeve before nervously walking onto the stage. They whispered to each other before I even started singing.
"What are you going to sing?" Eliza asked, clearly annoyed just at my presence
"Somewhere only we know by Keane.."
She rolled her eyes slightly "go on."
Alexander smiled at me and gave me a thumbs up.
"I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand

Eliza was clearly in shock when I finished the song. Washington clapped while Alexander just smiled proudly.
"You're in!" Washington shouted
"Wait wait wait!! Shouldn't we discuss this first?!" Eliza said angrily
"What's there to discuss Liz? He's amazing!" Alexander grinned
"You're outvoted" Washington told Eliza
Eliza got up and stormed off.
"Don't listen to her! The hairspray must've seeped in. Anyone with half a brain can tell you're a star!" Washington said supportively
Peggy ran out on stage and tackle hugged me "Welcome to the club!"
"Um.....hi.."
"Aww they look so cute together!" Lafayette said pointing at me and Peggy
"Oh n-"
"Really?!" Peggy smiled
