"Still thank you," he whispered as she nodded her head and gave him a small smile as she followed him into his bedroom. "You can take the bathroom first," he told her as he motioned to the bathroom in the hallway. Leaving Glen to his own thoughts, he adjusted himself, hoping that she hadn't noticed anything as to what her close proximity had done to him.

God, he wanted nothing more than to lay her down on his bed and make love to her. Show her how much he loved her and still felt the same for her as before. He wanted them to become official, not guessing where they were going to go. What they were or if they were even together except for their son.

When she returned in just a shirt and shorts, he left her for a second as he got ready, before sliding in beside her.

"Mummy you here?" Glen heard Arthur's voice trickling into the room, he'd been awake for the last five minutes. He couldn't make himself to get up and leave the warm bed. Kate was still asleep beside him, lying on her back, her arm slung across her stomach, her head turned towards him. Her chest rising and falling with each breath she took, she still looked as beautiful as she did all those years ago.

"We're here bud," Glen called out in a soft tone, not wanting to wake Kate up, he turned on his back and held his arm out to his son. "Daddy?" Arthur called out in a soft whisper as he walked up to the side of the bed and finding the stretched arm.

"Yes little man, I'm here," Glen whispered with a soft chuckle as he took his son and lifted him up before laying him down between both him and Kate. "Mummy's still asleep, let's be quiet," Glen whispered to Arthur as he held his son against his side, Arthur snuggling into him as he kissed the top of his head.

"Where are we?" Arthur whispered, looking up at his dad with questioning eyes. "My house in Dublin," Glen assured him, looking down at his little boy. "Can we do something?" Arthur asked, a grin growing on his face, as he turned his head to look at his mum, sleeping behind Arthur.

"What do you want to do?" Glen asked him with a small chuckle. "Can we make mummy some breakfast?" Arthur asked with a hopeful tone and grin on his face. "I've never been able to make mummy dinner. George does it all the time with Uncle Will." Arthur whispered in a sad tone, his head dropping a little against Glen's chest.

"He says Aunty Kate is always happy with breakfast in bed," Arthur added as Glen rested his cheek on top of his head. He too remembered making breakfast in bed for his mum, along with his brother and dad. He felt sad that his son hadn't been able to do that yet. "Come on, let's go and make mummy some breakfast," Glen whispered as he got up carefully along with his son as they headed down the stairs.

"Can you make pancakes?" Arthur asked him with an excited bounce in his step as they went down the stairs. "I do." Glen smiled down at him as he lifted Arthur to sit on the counter as he got the milk and eggs from the fridge.

"So are you excited for tonight?" Glen asked his son, knowing that they were going to his play that evening, Glen was excited to see his son's play at school. "Yes, we practised a lot." Arthur grinned, his legs swinging back and forth as he dipped his finger into the dough once in a while as Glen playfully tugged it away which would put Arthur in a small giggle, before repeating it.

"What is it about?" Glen asked him as he whisked the dough before putting the pan on the stove. "I can't tell you that daddy, it won't be a surprise that way." Arthur gasped as if it was the craziest thing to ask him. Glen chuckled as he shook his head.

"Right, We can't have that right." Glen snickered, kissing his son's forehead. "No." Arthur giggled as he dipped his finger in the whisked eggs and smeared it onto his dad t-shirt with a giggle. "Daddy you've been messy." Arthur chuckled in his hand as Glen couldn't help the smile from forming on his face as he dipped his own finger in the eggs and tapped Arthur's nose. "Daddy, my nose," Arthur called out as he looked down at his nose in a shocked manner. "Cheeky monkey." Glen chuckled, understanding why he had that nickname with both Catherine and Kate. As they continued to work together, it gave them a moment to bond together. It was certainly a new experience for Glen to share with Arthur. It gave him a moment for it to be just him and his son. Not that he minded Kate being with them as well, but still he hadn't had many alone times with his son. He could only think of one when Kate had gone to work unexpectedly a few weeks ago.

"Do you think she'll be happy?" Arthur asked, looking behind him at his dad as they climbed the stairs, Glen had a tray in his hands, careful not to trip and making sure Arthur didn't trip.

"I think she'll love it," Glen assured him with a wide smile as Arthur opened the door and they walked in to find Kate still asleep.

"Wake her up bud," Glen told Arthur with a small smile. Glen couldn't help but wince a little when he pounced on his mum in his excitement of having made her breakfast in bed finally.

"Mummy, mummy, mummy wake up. Daddy and I made breakfast." Arthur called as a smile grew on Kate's lips. She'd been awake from the moment Arthur had come in the room, knowing her son would panic if he didn't find her in a strange place. Glen, however, had beat her to it in reassuring their son, it was nice to share the burden for once.

A smile had been on her face the entire time as she thought about Glen and Arthur making her breakfast in bed. "hey little man." Kate feigned just having woken up as she pushed herself up to sit. "Good morning mummy." Arthur grinned in a cheeky manner as he threw his arms around her and kissed her cheek.

"Look daddy and I made breakfast." He told her, looking back at Glen as Kate couldn't help but grin between her two men.

"Did you now?" Kate asked him with a grin, Arthur bouncing up and down in excitement as Glen put the try across her legs. "This looks amazing." Kate grinned at her son first as she pulled into her side and kissing the top of her head. "thank you little man." she whispered a bit emotionally at the thought her son had gone to. Lifting her head, she looked at Glen with a grateful smile and he even noticed the hint of love in her eyes before she masked it again.

It warmed her heart that her son had wanted to make her breakfast. That Glen had agreed to it so quick and gone to the length of making an omelette and pancakes. He'd even added fresh pieces of fruit and some pastries to it all.

"thank you," she whispered to Glen as he sat down on his side of the bed, pulling Arthur in his own lap. "Your welcome," he told her with a smile. "Doesn't Daddy get a kiss like I did?" Arthur asked from between them in his innocence as Kate let out a chuckle, before ruffling his hair. "I think he deserves it doesn't he?" Kate grinned at her son who nodded his head eagerly, looking between his parents. leaning to the side Glen tilted his head a little, expecting her to give him a kiss on the cheek. they hadn't kissed in front of their son. Both hadn't put a name on their newfound chemistry.

But she angled his head back with her hand as she kissed him on the lips. "Thank you," she whispered against his lips as she gazed into his eyes. "Your welcome sweetheart," he told her as she told them to help her eat all the food they'd made her.
