"Seraphina, darling, you'll be late for school. Oh and Ms.Clara requested that you call her after school today." My mother shrill and uppity voice carried all the way up the stairs, through my closed door, and into my ears.

I don't see why I must go to school. All people do is gather in my face, gush over me, then gush over even more irrelevant things.

I,sluggishly, climbed out of bed and into the bathroom in my room. After a nice hot shower, not really caring if I'm late, I tossed an outfit together.

Its gotten rather chilly now that we're further into fall. I went with black skinny jeans, brown boots, a beige cashmere sweater and took out my long black peacoat. I shuffled my platinum blond hair into a high bun,not really concerning myself with the strands that refused to cooperate. I left my heart shaped face bare. No make-up under my silvery blue eyes, nothing on my rounded cheeks, and nada on my small pink lips.

I didn't see the need to go all out for school. These people weren't paying me or teaching me. They weren't important.

I grabbed my coat, shuffled it on, and grabbed my keys off my dresser. "I'm leaving!" My mother simply waved from where she sat on the couch admiring the curtains she'd just installed.

I swear all the money my father makes just goes to her head.

I skipped down the stairs in front of my fathers mansion and hopped into my car. Before pulling out, I texted my best friend to ask if he needed a ride. He's the only one I really trust. He's my everything in a way. He replied back with a large capitalized yes and I sped off.

I pulled up in front of Ty's house and waited. It didn't take long for a fuming Ty to rush out of his house and slam the door.

Ty was small. His height being five foot four. His skin was slightly tan since his mother was of indian descent. That also brought on the wild silky brown curls on top of his head. His light green eyes was something he'd gotten from his father. Who he half looked like.

"That stupid old man! Who eats cinnamon toast crunch like a faggot!? How is that even possible!" Ty ranted as he got into my car and slammed the door. I pulled off and headed for school.

"He's still on about that?" I asked amused as my tiny best friend crossed his arms over his chest and opened his mouth wide to rant again.

"I mean come the fuck on! Its already been a year. Grow some balls and suck the shit up." Ty had came out that he was gay last year, our tenth grade year, and his father didn't take to kindly that his son was gay. He never put his hand on him though. Ty would never allow that. But because Ty's mom doesn't really go against her husband, Ty has to defend himself. With the help of me if I'm ever around and something snide is said.

I pulled into a parking space that was directly in front of the school. A few delinquents, troubled kids, bad asses, whatever you wanna call them, were perched out front on the stairs conversing. Ty popped out of the car, still pissed.

We walked passed the group who just acknowledged us with a nod. One did speak though. "Careful. Its crazy in there. Jay's having some fun." The guy smirked as he warned Ty and I of his leader.

Jade Blacke. She's the troublemaker of our town. She leads a large gang thats well known in our town. Shes openly gay and does whatever she wants and says whatever she wants. She has a rep for being a player within our school. Whether your guy or girl,if you girl's missing, shes probably in bed with Jade.

I ignored the warning since its nothing new.

I opened up the school doors and the everyday chaos filled my ears. Ty looked eager to jump into the hot pot of wildness. Who was I to stop him? He spotted our group of "friends." Which consisted of cheerleaders and jocks. Its only right when you're head cheerleader to hang with the cheerleaders and jocks, right?
