• Malaysia POV •
Being 19 and a stripper isn't really a good image . I would know because I'm a stripper and I'm only 19 . (A/N: No offense to any young stripper )
I always wanted to go off to college and make something out of myself . Not live in New Orleans for the rest of my life . But best believe I will rep my city !
Yeah NOLA can be a bad place shit you might have a bodyguard but that nigga gon need a damn bodyguard his self . You can act tough all you want outchea' but that don't mean a nigga gon cut you some slack .
We all tryin' ta make a way , hustle and grind . People don't care what they gotta do to get to the top .
Living in a house with 1 parent and 4 other siblings it was hard growing up . Not being able to eat some nights , ya mama stealing clothes to put on your back and barely working a part time job . Mannnn I tell you , I gotta give it to my mom cause she made sure that her kids got the best she could give us .
Now I know y'all wondering why I'm a stripper or what ever well listen . I always wanted to become a dancer , been taking dancing classes sense I was 5 and I loved it ! Anyway when I turned 16 my older brother and 2 older sisters thought it would be a good idea to move all the way to Miami . At the time they didn't know our mom was pregnant . And when she gave birth to a baby boy the doctors told me that she had cancer .
Not even 3 days later the hospital called saying my moms didn't make it . If I couldn't get a hold of my dad they would put my little brother up for adoption . Not only him but myself also only being 16 I still wasn't legal to get him and take care of myself .
So y'all should already know I went and found my dad . He took us in not even a full 24 hours he was telling me I had less then a week to find a place for us cause his "wife" didn't want us at that house .
Me being me I put my dance skills to work and became a stripper . No I don't like what I do but it needed to be done . I got a little brotha I gotta take care of now . So I got an apartment and been working for 3 years .
Out of all those years I haven't talked to my older brother or sisters nor have I spoke to my father .
Why some might ask , well I never really thought about that . But as I grew up and noticed how they just thought about themselves blood ain't thicker then water is all I can say .
