CHAPTER 5 : Fear of Being Alone

Start from the beginning

"oh!! I know that! I heard it this morning... it's a letter...uhm, shaped like...letter e-M?"

"tiiiing!!!wrong..."

"huh?"

"You see noona, in every brochures, articles and even news, they always say that the river is shaped like an M but the truth is, it is more like a heart shaped..."

Yura tilt her head as she thinks of a reason how it became a heart shape.
"The two ends is connected in an underground cave which is not visible in the aerial view."

"oooh..." She nods and re-reads a particular part in the brochure "...and that-is not-stated here. Thank goodness I asked you to tell me."

Kimmon laughs as he continue his story, "...people from the island say that this river symbolizes 'Change', a change in one's life once it found love..."

"like what'd happened to the god of the seven seas?"

"ding-dong-deng!!!" Kimmon swaying his forefinger.

Yura enjoyed listening to the whole of it and it makes her more curious if the legend is true.

"And because of the legend, some who seeks to find their partner or to have a long lasting relationship with their partner comes here more often...."

Yura nods and thinks that if now is the right time, she would gladly accepts that change into her life.

"...here's your strawberry milk shake noona"

"oh! thank you..." she took a sip, "...wow! it's delicious..."

"I'm so glad you like it..." smiling mischievously.

"...thank you for that wonderful story too."

"you're welcome noona...oh! look at there..." Kimmon pointed out a mini stall with loads of people falling in line.

"what's with the crowd?"

"behind that mini stall is one of the river's end..."

"really!?" Yura stood up from her seat and bid her goodbye.

"better be going and don't worry, I'll be sharing the world that your strawberry milk shake here is one of the best...bye"

Yura knew her followers will went crazy about it and will visit the place as soon as she posted it on her SNS. She shows two thumbs up to Kimmon before finally walks to that mini stall.

-----------------------------------------------------------

After a long wait from the line, Yura finally got to ride in an eco-friendly shuttle which will lead them to the center of Upendi's river.

Travelling by wheels is the fastest way to reach the waterfalls. Besides, the locals wanted to preserve the purity of the river so they forbid people from sailing on it.

The travel will take atleast three hours which already consists of 10minutes for every stops. There are 5 stations all in all, different activities awaits for the tourists to enjoy.

Yura, as expected enjoyed every stations. She did take a lot of photos and she even got inspired to draw some scenery that catches her inner self.

They arrived at the last station which is a two and a half kilometers away from the falls, also the starting point where the path of the river changes from a long straight path to a curve one.

Yura is then focus in making a masterpiece as she draws two lovely frogs in a pod. The frogs seems to know they were being drawn as they didn't move an inch.
