As Kaycee rolled around in her wheelchair I couldn't help but smile..even when she just broke both of her legs she's still smiling and laughing..without a care in the world. That's one of the many reasons I love her..
"What are you looking at?" She said continuing to spin in her chair
"You.." I said still smiling
"Why?" She said with a giggle
"Just admiring your beauty" I said genuinely
"Dork" She said smiling and shaking her head
"Ok you two let's go" My mom said popping her head in the room
"They're releasing us?!" Kaycee and I said in unison
"Yup..now hurry up it's Christmas time" Serris added
"Yay!" Kaycee and I said once again in unison
We spin the rim of the wheels so we can slowly follow everyone to the elevator. I didn't think that we would be getting released this early but I guess they just thought we were doing really well. But at least we get to go home and spend Christmas together..
"How are we gonna get in the car.." Kaycee asked
"We should go in the back..like push the seats down because I can't bend my leg" I suggested
"Great idea" My mom said opening the trunk
*I had to do this when I hurt my knee and it was a fucking nightmare*
"Up we go" Kaycee's dad said picking her up
"Need help Sean?" He asked as he set her down
"Nah I'll just scootch" I said moving back
"..Scootch" She laughed
"Weirdo" I said as Laura closed the door
"Ready you two?" Serris asked starting the car
"Yup" I replied
"Mhm" Kaycee answered as she re-adjusted her cast's
I knew something was up with Kaycee..she just didn't want to tell anyone so I take out my phone and text her
S: Why do you look so down?
K: Sean I'm sitting right next to you
S: Do you really want both of our families hearing our conversation?
K:Fine..it's just dancing is my passion and I know it's your too but with our injuries we won't be able to do what we love for like 6 months
S: I know..but at least we get to go to all the classes and besides remember Le twins from last seasons World Of Dance?
K:I guess and Yeah I remember
S:One of them did a wheelchair dance..so we still get to do a part of what we love
K:Yeah I guess
I sat my hand on top of hers and mouthed
"I love you"
She smiled and mouthed back
"I love you two
