It all started with a bang

Chapter 4

Hello readers just another chapter for today but remember no updates tomorrow. Anyways on with the story~

(Skylar's POV)

Its around 6:30 p.m, Landon and I have been training for 3 hours straight. I'm pretty sure that I have 20 bruises forming all over my stomach and legs. Right now, me and Landon are training hand to hand combat, he is winning of coarse. But I felt so tried I wanted to just stop, so I did the only thing I could do when any guy is on top of me. Yup, I kicked him straight in the man hood.

L: Argh! What the hell Sky!

S: Well I needed to breathe and I am tired! Are we done now that you are on the ground?!

L: Fine! Get changed and go to the car.

With that, I trudge to the bathroom just wishing for my bed. I got dressing in my red hoodie I kept in my bag and kept the yoga pants on.

How much do you wanna bet as soon as I get home, I'll fall asleep in the door way?

I get through the doors of the dojo and make my way to the mustang. I see Landon in the drivers seat already. I hop into the car and Landon still has a painful expression on his face.

S: Did I hurt you that bad!?

L: No but you are so going to get it during tomorrow's training. But please try and get some sleep, and here...

Landon hands me a pill and I hesitate to take it.

S: What is it, date rape?

L: Just take it! Trust me it will ease the pain in the morning and you wont feel like the grudge either.

S: Fine!

I take the pill, and now have a horrid after taste. Imagine dust with grapefruit juice, disgusting right?

(Landon's POV)

As driving down the street to get to a corner stop. I try and be careful with her father's territory, and mine while I'm at it. Sky gets out of the car telling me that she will see me at school and she will call me later. I hate seeing her walk home in the rain but I can't do anything that won't get my butt shot at.

I see Sky walk a couple of feet and I start having this feeling, and trust me it was not the pain in my crotch, but like a happy feeling. I am just really happy to see my best friend again. Man did she change though. Back in California she was an 11 year old with braces, glasses and a pizza face. But now at 15, to me, she looks like a Victoria Secret model in Florida. I mean her long brown hair that flowed to her waist and her green eyes that look so innocent, and her smile was so beautiful it could make anyone's day better.

I drive down to my dad's hide out, or you can call it a very small house, and I am meet by some of his goons. But I ignore them and head to my room. Soon enough my father comes busting the door open (for now Landon's dad's name is Alex and Skylar's is Tony)

A: So did you find any sign of that girl?

L: Not yet dad, can I ask you something?

A: Yeah but make it quick I have places to be!

L: Why do you want to find her so bad?

A: She is the prized possession of her father, Tony, and since he refused my offer on working together I will have to hit him where it hurts! AND THAT FINAL! YOU BETTER NOT BE LYING TO ME ABOUT HER! IS THAT CLEAR!?

L: Yeah, whatever...

And with that he left, I hate how I'm even related to this twit. I took off my shirt and locked the door to turn the light off and head to bed.

(Skylar's POV)

I just about reached my door step and the cold water from the rain has me wide awake. Just before I walk though the door I see its 8:30 p.m meaning a half an hour later I would have gotten a huge lecture from my dad about how dangerous the world is now a days.

I unlock the doors, and the lights are off.... strange... I thought everyone would be hustling and bustling everywhere. Then a light from lamp enlightens the room and my dad is right there in front of me holding his arms out. I quickly run into him being embraced with my fathers warmth.

S: Hi daddy. What's wrong?

T: Nothing I just want to ask you some questions...

S: ok ask away!

T: Why were you out, who were you with, I think you might want to go change before you get sick, do you want to spend daddy daughter day tomorrow?

S: I was with friends, Leslie, Adrian and Megan, I will go change after we are done and I would love to spend a day with you!

T: Ok but next time call me ok? And I got everything done early and I planned to go somewhere with you in the morning.

S: But I have school.

T: No? I thought you didn't cause the school called your Aunt saying that the school needed cleaning and some rebuilding.

S: oh yeah! dad I shall go with you tomorrow!

T: Good madam I shall see you in the morning.

S: Night dad,love you!

T: Ditto

And with that I went up to my room to get some cozy pj's and hop into the shower. I kept thinking on how he always said ditto ever since my mom pasted he never said i love you too, just ditto, it was their thing.

After showering I skyped my friends and told them today's adventure and they told me theirs. Megan has a boyfriend so that new, Adrain has a gig next week, and Leslie said she is getting one of her artworks into a museum which is awesome. Taking for 2 hours we all said good bye and I went to bed.
