It all started with a bang

Chapter 5

(Skylar's POV)

I wake up to my aunt Kellie covering my mouth with her hand. I try and grab her arm and start asking question.

S: Umm... why was your hand covering my face hole?

K: mouth...and because I did not want to scare you when you wake up.

S: well its not like I would punch you square in the nose!

K: Shh! Keep your voice down! And I remember that one time one of your fathers ''employees'' came to wake you and you punched him 'square in the nose'!

S: well...that's cause he yelled in my face...

K: Anyway is someone ready to get their daddy daughter date stated?

I quickly look at my phone and see its 6:30 a.m

S: Are you kidding me! Its way too early!

K: Shh! And I know that but your father told me that night i had to wake you up earlier and help you get dressed.

S: fine what do you want me to do?

K: well first you need to go and shower, you smell salty, and your breathe is vomit worthy.

And with that I get out of bed and head to my bathroom. After doing my business Kellie greets me in my door way and tells me to stay in my robe. She sits me down and starts to blow dry my hair. After drying my hair she continues to put curlers in my hair.

She then instructed for me to stand up. Looking though my closet full of band shirts and jeans she tells me she will be back.

2 hours later she came to 'my rescue' and found a beautiful floral skater dress, with white converse. She knew that if I did not have vans or converse I would definitely decline the outfit. She ushered me into to bathroom to get into the outfit. Trying to avoid getting tangled with my curlers I carefully put on my undergarments and dress.

She then proceeded to look at me with acceptance and as I put on my shoes she took the plastic out of my hair. I looked into a mirror close by and thought I actually looked pretty attractive.

S: Do you have any idea where dad is taking me?

K: No but your father said to make sure it was comfortable

S: oh ok then-

Just as I was about to thank Kellie I heard my dad knock on the door and ask if I was ready to leave. I agreed with him and stepped into his heavy duty GMC truck.

T: Well Kellie did and amazing job helping you pick your outfit, didn't she?

S: Yeah she did, but where are we going?

T: patience young one, but right now we are going to IHOP!

While eating breakfast my father gets a phone call and excuses himself from the table. I can see him outside of the window looking really stressed. I knew he was going to come in saying sorry. So I quickly ate as much as I could stuff and waited for him to come inside.

As I guessed correctly he came in giving me and apologetic look and we left to restraint right after paying. He then explained to me that he has some unfinished business to take care of.

He drove into an empty alley and instructed me to stay in the car unless he tell me to. 5 buff looking men were already standing in front of my dad looking angry. They talked with very colorful words and my dad then looked at the truck and unlocked the doors and waved me over. I came out of the truck and walked near my father, but always behind him. Then,  one man said that he wanted a closer look at me. I looked at my dad for permission and he just whispered to be on guard. I walked as close has i felt comfortable and then he walked closer to me. Literally all I could see was his facial features, he was too close for comfort. The whole time I just thought that my dad had alot of explaining to do, and that I hope Landon's training kicks in.

What will happen to Sky?

Hey umm I won't be able to update for a week cause I will be in new mexico for boot camp. But i promise to update as soon as I get back!
