It all started with a bang

Chapter 1

Chapter 1~

(Skylar's POV)

~Flashback... 7th grade~

I was in the cafeteria talking to my friends, if you can call them that. While everyone was eating, talking or gossiping I got a text from Landon. Landon was my best friend and I had a secret little crush on him but he sees me as one of the guys. I read the text, sorry. Then I started looking around me. I quickly made my way to the bathrooms and texted back.

S: What do you mean sorry?

L: Are you in the bathroom?

S: Yeah, why?

L: Stay there and do not come out until I say so. Is that clear?

S: Is it about our Dad's again?!

L: Am I Clear?!

S: Okay yes!

About 3 minutes later, I here gun shots and people running around trying to evacuate. I start crying to my self, hoping that Landon was ok. See, my dad is a huge drug dealer and has a huge thing going on for him. But so does Landon's. Landon's dad sent out one of his spies to kill my mom. Ever since my mom past, my dad kind of snapped. He thinks I am still clueless about the drugs and stuff, until Landon started coming to school. Landon I guess recognized me and we started talking, and about a year or so he told me about what goes on. Once and a while I go down into the basement where my dad takes care of 'business'. I am scared of what might happen if our dad's ever found out we are friends...or maybe, hopefully more.

Landon snapped me back into reality and he took my arm and ran out of the school from the back and ran to our tree. We hang out around here if we need to think, plus it does not touch any of our dad's turfs.

L: Are you ok? Are you hurt?

S: No I'm fine, I'm just happy you are ok... What happened?

L: I'm sorry my dad found out and...he came to kidnap you.

S: I thought that he could not come here?!

L: I thought so too... I'm sorry...

When Landon and I finished talking we decided its best if I leave... The state. I talked to my dad after the evacuation and he said we were going to move before I said anything.

I never saw him after that day.

~Present day~

S: Landon...

wow I never thought I would say his name again.

M: Well Sky are you going to introduce us to your new friend?

S: Umm Yeah guys this is my friend  Landon. Landon this is Megan, Leslie and Adrian.

I took Landon aside after his introduction. I have a couple of question for him!

S: What are you doing here!? Where is your dad? Does he know you are here! Did they find me? Or-

L: Sky! Calm down its ok my dad did not find you but I did... He has been traveling to each state to find you and your father. I am just so happy to see you! Arent you happy to see me?

S: Of course I am! Its just I have not seen you in such a long time. *sniffles*

L: I know, come here...

Landon pulls me into his big bear hugs. I can feel his muscles under is shirt, I can tell he has been working out. But the hug still feels gentle and comforting to me. I soon tell my friends that I wanted to catch up with Landon and they understood. Adrian just told me that if anything happens to call him. So me and Landon planned on going to little park that I know.

I only know of the park, not even my best friends know. We soon caught up and says that he wants to train me cause my arms look like noodles. To which I give him a nudge of the shoulder. The sun started to set and we said that we will try and meet here everyday. And we soon split.

As soon as i got home. And heard yelling from outside but I try to avoid it. Yeah even though I moved we are still very much in business. I make myself a banana smoothie and go to my room. I grab my computer and start going on tumblr. I soon yawn and realize that if I fall asleep on the computer again my dad will get mad. So I shower and brush my teeth and head to bed.

So what do you think? I will be adding a bit more detail to the story soon and maybe the next chapter will be a filler or description of the characters.
