"Danielle.. I think we need to talk"
She said while getting up from the couch coming to me.
"Mom? What are you doing here?"
I asked.
"I wanted to see how you were doing."
She said
"All these years, and now you wanna see me?"
I asked.
"Danielle please stay calm for now. Me and you father need you in Michigan."
She said
"Why? You already left me this house cause you were too busy getting a job from the other side of the country"
I said
"It was not that simple. Were not leaving the house for you. Were asking you to move in with us."
She said.
I looked away.
"My friends are here. My school is here and my whole life too"
I said
"There are school's in Michigan too. And you can always make new friends right"
She said
"Mom.. I cant move to Michigan. Im going to be a senior next month. Im gonna graduate after that. Theres no way im wiping all my friends and school career off the papers just cause of you"
I said.
"Danielle i've had enough of this-"
She said getting angry
"Mom!"
I yelled.
"Im not a teenager anymore! Im an adult"
I said.
She looked at me mad and I looked away frustrated.
"I know what that boy did to you"
She said after a small silence.
"What?"
I asked raicing my look to her.
"I know he raped you"
She said.
"He didnt can we just talk about anything else?"
I asked starting to walk towards my room.
"Danielle! Im talking to you"
She said following me.
I turned around facing her.
"This place is dangerous for you. That boy is heartless and so are your friends. The principal called me telling me everything"
She said
"Im not moving to Michigan.."
I said
"You are. Wanted or not"
She said walking to the livingroom.
"Pack your bags. Were leaving tomorrow morning"
She said.
"Can I atleast talk to my friends before we go?"
I asked.
"Ofcourse. Just make sure you're ready. The plane leaves at 10:30 AM"
She said
I nodded my head looking down.
I turned back around going into my room and closing the door after me. I had tears in my eyes.
Gus, Raven, Kells, Steve.. Everything wiped off just cause I fucked up.
