Luhan's pov:

Ring, Ding, Ding

"Hello."

"Yes, this is Luhan's father speaking." My father says. I couldn't help eavesdrop on the conversation. His voice became deeper then normal and there was a hint of frustration but it could have been due to the fact that he can never get a break.

I sneakily made my way down the stairs and grabbed the house phone to hear the conversation. I didn't recognize the phone number but I instantly remembered as I placed the house phone to my ear.

"Well, Hello, sir. I just wanted to inform you that your son, Luhan, has been doing terrible with his grades at school. If he doesn't get his grades up he might fail this semester. I hope you understand our concern for him and his grades." The principal said. It has been three months since I have begun my plan and this was the first step but it disgusted me that only guys like him would make such a personal call to my father. After all, it's always about connections.

First step, check.

"Yes, I understand." He said. I could hear him grab a piece of paper and pen to write something down on it. I tried to be as quiet as I could so they couldn't hear that I was listening to their conversation.

"Is there anyway that you could help Luhan with his grades at school or even at home? Maybe someone to tutor him in his subjects?" My father asked.

It sounded like a bad idea. Me, wasting my time with a stranger, having to tolerate them and be nice to him or her is not on my list or part of my plan. It won't be the first time my father has tried to get someone to tutor me but they always end up quitting because my grades don't improve. Not because I'm dumb or anything but it's just the fact that I'm not much of a school person to begin with.

"Yes, there is. If you want we can meet at the school and you can come to my office. There we can settle things down and talk about who can tutor him." And there it is. Connections. I rolled my eyes as I placed my back against the wall.

"No," my father said. I thought he might have changed his mind about the tutor for a moment but it soon went away as he spoke up again.

"I want a list of your top students in the school. I want you to send me a list of their profile and picture to my house." He said, raising his voice and I heard a shift of weight on the chair he was sitting in.

"That won't be a problem, sir. I'll have it sent to you right away. Maybe we could speed up the process if I could have your email address to send them that way. I personally would find it easier to get it to you."

"No, it's perfectly fine if you send them to my address, I prefer to have a physical copy." I nodded in approval.

"Well, it was nice talking to you. Feel free to call my office if you need anything or if you happen to have any sudden questions." The principal said and hung up the phone as my father also bid his goodbye.

Quietly I put back the house phone where it belongs and went to turn on the T.v. hearing footsteps coming from my father's office and into the living room. My eyes made its way to the T.v. as I sat down on the couch pretending like I didn't hear their conversation and fixing my eyes on the variety show.

He passed me by and darted his eyes on the back of my head, boring holes that I could feel at the back of my head. I shifted my dark eyes from the people to meet his eagle like ones. He looked another way and took a look at the T.v. making his way around and sat down on the armchair to the left of where I was sitting.

"Aren't you going to school? It's getting late for class. Go change and meet our personal driver outside when you're done." He spoke before heading to the kitchen.
