Caroline's POV
Klaus and I were kissing and having a really hot making out session but I had to stop before I completely lost all control and just ripped his stupid clothes off to just have my way with him.
"Klaus... I need to tell you something." I said after breaking the kiss, grabbed his hand and made him seat with me in my bed.
"You look serious..." He noticed.
"Well, I haven't date in a long time. I mean, Stefan was my last boyfriend and we only dated for a short period of time after my mother died, then we realized that we could never work as something besides friends..." I said and noticed Klaus getting tense. "When I decided to raise the girls, I was aware that my life would change drastically and it did. Look, the thing is... in all my previous relationships I went way too fast, way too soon... so, what I have to tell you is that if we are going to be together, I have to take things slow... I want this to last and if we just rush things, I'll fear that we might end it and... you are very important to me, I don't want to lose you."
"You're not going to lose me. If you want to take things slow, then we will take things slow..." he said, making me smile. "But we still can kiss, right?"
"Yeah..." I said giggling and then I kissed him. "I really like you, Niklaus Mikaelson."
"I really like you too, Caroline Forbes." He said and kissed me again.
Elijah's POV
I was very happy with Elena, we just got together an hour and 43 minutes ago and I couldn't be happier. She had to leave a few minutes ago and I decided that I should go talk with Hayley.
I went to her room and knock on the door, she opened it and let me get in.
"Hey, Elijah! Is everything okay?"
"Yes. I just wish to speak to you about an important matter."
"Okay. And what would that be?" She asked.
"Love life. Mine, to be precise." I said and she just nodded. "I have feelings for a woman and those feelings are mutual."
"That's amazing, Elijah!" Hayley said with a smile.
"You are not upset...?" I asked because I honestly had no idea what would be her reaction and was preparing myself for the worst.
"Of course not. I know I'm your ex and that usual the ex is upset for the other being in a relationship but... I've been many years without you and things changed... that's one of the reasons why we broke up, that and because our relationship was way too complicated." She said with a smile and I smiled back at her.
I was truly happy and relief that she didn't got upset with the news.
"So... are you two dating now or did you still not had the talk?"
"No, we had. We are now definitely together. She makes me very happy."
"I'm glad. You and Elena do seem cute together." Hayley said, making me give her a confused look.
"How did you know it was Elena?"
"Because even if I'm not in the games nights, when we are having dinner or breakfast at Caroline's place, I see the way you look at her and the way she looks at you, I see the way you two talk and are all shy..." Hayley said with a smile.
"Thank you for being so nice and understanding with this situation. I truly appreciate it."
"No problem, Elijah." I said and she just nodded with a smile, then I left her room with a smile on my face, glad to not have anything in the middle of my relationship with Elena.
Maybe I'm finally having another chance to follow my happiness...
