Caroline's POV

In the end of the day, my boss called me and I prepared myself for whatever could happen because when my boss calls an employee, there's only two things that might happen: you get fired or you get a promotion. I know I can use compulsion but that doesn't give me the rush of fighting for what I want because it's just given to me and I don't feel like I deserved it.

I went home and couldn't help but tell everyone the news, I told Alaric, then I called Elena and Bonnie and now I went to Hayleys place that was just right next to mine so I would tel her.

I knocked on the door and of course who opened the door was Klaus, but I was so happy that I didn't even roll my eyes.

"Hello, Love!" Klaus said.

"Hey, Klaus! Is Hayley home?"

"Yes. May I know what's the reason for that beautiful smile of yours."

"I kinda got a promotion!" I said with a big smile and hugged him without even thinking, then when I heard someone clear their throat I broke the hug and saw Hayley.

"Sorry to interrupt you..."

"You didn't interrupt anything." I cut Hayley off. "Guess what? I got promoted!"

"Congratulations! I knew you were going to get your promotion sooner or later." Hayley said.

"Hey, Girls! I couldn't help but listen to your conversation and I think you should celebrate and we could all go out."

"I don't think so, Kol. I mean... It's school day and last night I was out too. I can't be always out."

"How about we go after the girls get to sleep and you let someone take care of them?" Hayley said.

"I don't know. I already asked the same to Alaric."

"I can go talk to him and tell him it was my idea. If we say it was Kol's he definitely won't think it's a good idea." Hayley said and I smiled.

"Thank you." I said and hugged her.

I was now at a bar with Elena, Bonnie, Hayley, Freya, Klaus, Elijah, Kol, Stefan, Damon and Enzo.

"You are soooo old, Klaus." I said a little tipsy. "Come here! Let me show how we dance."

I pulled him closer to me and make he move his hips in sync with mine, after he started to picking up this style of dancing I wrapped my arms around his neck and started to dance. He pulled me really close to him and at this point what we were doing couldn't even be called dancing, we were rubbing our bodies on each other, teasing each other...

"Caroline..." he groaned lowly so only I could hear him. "I missed this so much... I missed you so much..."

"I missed you too... so much..." I whispered and then I started to kiss his neck and suck a bit of it, leaving a bit of a mark but quickly healed.

What the hell am I doing?

"I'm sorry..." I said and left the bar to take a little of fresh air and be able to think and try not to do anything like what I was doing with Klaus.

"Love..."

"I'm sorry but I can't do this. I have two girls and... I can't be doing this. Partying, hooking up... I left that life when I choose to raise Lizzie and Josie." I said, quickly feeling awful for being part of this. "What the hell im doing here? I should be at home with my daughters. I'm not suppose to be here and acting like there's no consequences..."

"Love, it's okay. You need to have fun sometimes. You deserve it." Klaus said to try to comfort me while I let a few tears and when he noticed them, he hugged me.

"Aren't you upset with me?"

"Of course not. You gave me the honor of dancing with you and that was all I wanted..." Klaus said, even though we both knew he was lying.

"Thank you... for everything." I said and gave him a peck on the cheek then was about to leave but he followed me.

"Where are you going, Love?"

"Home. But you can go back in. I'm sure your siblings are missing you."

"They can handle one night without me." He said and took me home.

I let him in and he took me to my bedroom because I was a little more drunk than he was, which is understandable since he is the Original Hybrid.

"Can you stay with me?" I asked once I was laying down on the bed.

"Of course, Love." He said and he got under the covers.

I used his chest as a pillow and quickly fall asleep with his arms wrapped around me, feeling his scent around me. I don't know what was it but I was addicted to be like this with him. I do enjoy cuddling but with him it's different, it's special and it makes me feel safe and protected...

AN: hey guys! I'm sorry if you don't like this chapter, it didn't come out exactly how I wanted... In this chapter I focused on Klaroline but I'm thinking in the next one focusing on another ship. I don't think I'm going to make many chapters with them going to bar and partying because there's Hope, Lizzie and Josie. But maybe I'll make more game nights. But I'm not sure.
