the spanish serenade of a lullaby
goodbye to the times of past
the chime slinking quietly
and life dances on
gone without a partner but death
steals into moments
steals into people
steals into you
but life dances on
and music you once could play
is foreignforeign to the skies
to the air
to the stars
and they will ask you
about this song
teach them to play
teach them sing
and life will dance on
