the main character from the movie 'playing it cool' doesn't have a name, so i decided to just use chris because any other name felt weird to me

also, if you haven't seen this movie, you are missing out

"hey scott" i say, walking in the video rental store

he smiles widely "hey y/n"

i prop my elbows on the desk, looking at him "what should i watch now?"

he smiles, standing up "i have just the thing"

i smile, waiting patiently

a guy walks over from behind the desk

i take in his handsome appearence

baby blue eyes, light stubble on his cheeks and around his mouth, a sharp jawline, adorable round glasses, a built figure, a-

"hi, i'm chris" he says, smiling widely, showing off his perfect teeth

i smile "i'm y/n"

"what brings you here?" he asks

i giggle "to get a movie"

he blushes, nervously rubbing the back of his neck "oh, right"

i smile at him before seeing scott come back with three movies in his hands

"okay, i have 'terminator' and the new 'jumanji' movie, oh and 'tomb raider' " he says, showing me the covers

"so robot, jungle, and jungle?" i ask, raising an eyebrow

he nods, smiling widely "i recommend the new 'jumanji' movie"

"fine, i'll watch the 'jumanji' movie if you watch the 'terminator' again because of your boy crush" i say with a smirk

he blushes, looking down "he's probably straight anyways"

i scoff "no straight guy thinks that 'terminator' is a romantic film"

"agreed" chris adds

i smile at him before turning my attention back to scott

he looks between the two of us, smirking

"y/n, have you met my best friend chris?" he asks

i nod "we had a formal introduction, but i didn't know he was the chris that was your best friend"

scott laughs "yeah, well-"

i smile "okay, put me down for this rental so that i can get home and watch it before you try to spoil it"

scott laughs, sitting down to type my name on his computer

"you're watching jumanji all by yourself? what if you get scared?" a voice says from behind me

i turn around to see a guy with five video game covers in his hands, smirking
