Hi hello,
I wrote this in 2013 or so, and hit "publish" just for nostalgia's sake. By current standards, I have to say this book is not very diverse. I am passionate about queer and minority representation in fiction, but I did not have many tools when I was younger to tell those kinds of stories. I haven't looked at "Malus" in years, so I'm not sure if it contains anything problematic. Someday I would be happy to retell this story through a more diverse lens.
