"(Y/N)! In my office now please." Captain Fowler called from his own private office room. As you walk over you hear someone whisper "Oh wow, good girl's in trouble, wonder what happened?" That sentence made you very paranoid, thoughts were racing through your head as you try to think of what you could have done that would get you into the Captain's office.
You breathe in and swallow your pride as you walk into the room.

"Hello Ms. L/n," Captain Fowler stops looking at his computer monitor then turns to you. "You must be wondering why you are in my office. And no, you're not in any hot water I promise you." He sounded almost sincere as he spoke.

"Alright, so what am I in here for then?" You question honestly surprised to find you aren't in trouble.

"It has come to my attention that you have been an exceptional officer for the last six years, and for six years too long," your heart sank. Was he going to fire you? Was he replacing you? 'Oh dear lord here we go' you thought about those words. Waiting for the moment for him to tell you to leave... but that never happened. "Y/n I have been wanting to do this for a while, I'm going to give you a promotion, you are now an official police detective. We are glad you are part of our team." He gave you a smile, your anxiety melted away and was replaced with complete and utter bliss. 'Oh my god' your thoughts were racing 'oh my stars!!! I'm a police detective, a real police detective... who will I be working with?'

"So who will I be working with?" You smile with glee

"Since they have an android in their team and that android is efficient in its work and can teach you, Hank and Connor Anderson will be your partners." He looks back at his screen.

"Oh alright, thank you so much, sir!" You say as you leave the private room. 'Wow, this is going to be so amazing!' You pause 'what if they don't like me? What if I mess up? What if-' you got cut off as something came into contact with your body and face.

You stumble back from the contact and look up. You see a tall, handsome guy stumble back, then he looks you up and down, causing you to blush pink. "Oh my stars I'm so sorry I should've watched where I was going my mistake" you apologize not noticing his led turning yellow, or any of his android notifying qualities.

"No, it is quite alright, though I was actually looking for you Ms. (L/n)" He holds a hand out for you to shake. You take his had and realize how you're either really warm or he's really cold. You keep eye contact as catch sight of the led on his temple. 'When did Cyberlife make attractive androids?' You think then instantly regret your thoughts because you literally just met him.

"So who are you?" You query

"My name is Connor, I'm the android sent by Cyberlife. Captain Fowler says that you will be our new partner." Connor spoke smoothly as you let go of his hand.
"Oh alright, you already know who I am, how about I go introduce myself the Hank?" You comment as you start to walk.

"Good idea, but you're walking the wrong way," Connor then grabs your hand and starts to lead you to Hank's desk. The physical contact made you blush as you moved. "I detect your stress level has raised even more, along with your body temperature, with blood flow directed towards your face... more specifically your cheeks and nose. And added serotonin levels" An awkward laugh was all you could manage to reply to that statement

"Yeah, that happens a lot..." You shyly speak. He looks at you

"No, it only seems to happen around me, when you speak to Gavin only your stress increases." He says with a 'matter-of-fact' tone

"Wait you've literally just met me how did you know I speak to Mr.Reed and my stress level increases? Have you been scanning me when I'm around?" He looks away like a child who broke a vase with a ball and is trying to hide their guilt.

"Maybe, though it was just for research purposes I swear," you giggle at his defense. You get a warm feeling in your chest. 'He's really something else, adorkable and innocent' Both of you arrive at Hank's desk. Hank looks up at you with a shocked look.

"Connor don't tell me this is your girlfriend I swear to god...No offense, Miss." He turns the last part to you. In pure shock, you sat there for a second then started to laugh. Connor and Hank were highly confused by your response.

Inbetween laughs you managed to speak. "No sir, I'm you and Connor's new partner until I have enough experience at being a detective. Though I wish," You were thinking out loud and accidentally said the last part. "W-Woah I'm so sorry I didn't mean to say that uhhh," you put your blushing red face in your hands "I knew I was going to say something stupid." You were now talking to yourself. 'Great like a crazy person' you think.

Hank just laughed. "Hey relax kid, it's not the end of the world we all say stuff we don't realize can come off a different way." You nod as you take your face out of your hands then out of the corner of your eye you see Connor a blue blushing mess like his system crashed or something. 'Aw so innocent' You think as Hank is laughing his ass off trying to make Connor function again. After about 20 seconds of a non-functioning Connor, his led changes from blue to yellow, then he spoke. "Lutendent, Detective, I just got a report of a hostage situation near downtown. We need to act fast as to make sure the hostage is safe."

You nod as you all start to make your way outside "Let's take my car" you walk over to your car and unlock it. Then open three doors for them to come inside. As Hank gets in the passenger's seat, Connor in the back, and you in the driver's seat. You start up the car and speed off

"Hurry we only have three and a half minutes to get there before the rest of the police force does," Connor notes as you speed down the highway at 85 miles an hour.
